Great spot and easy access from the motorway ,it was the perfect stop over on our way to Spain .
Great size rooms and facilitates .
We arrived after 11pm and you need to enter from the exit side of the hotel at that time .
Breakfast was sufficient ad is located in a lovely courtyard.
My only disappointment was that I thought it was a small B&B Provençal style type of accommodation but it is quite big . Many rooms and therefore people on the hotel grounds . From the photos it doesn't really come across as a large property . But I guess that is just misperception . The place itself is really nice and well looked after supplying all you need for a place in the Camargue .
Very close to the main attractions in the area .

Only able to book for 2 nights see my review last June 2016 the comments remain the same.
The bath shower still needs a holder for the shower head so that you can enjoy it as a faff to use.
TV has English Channels to keep up with news.
Staff are great they speak good English my French has not improved.
Still a lovely tranquil spot.
Will still keep returning standards are good.

Very nice and pleasant hotel, outside of Aigues Mortes. The staff is very nice, the restaurant is excellent, the pool is huge and clean. The rooms are cosy and cute.
The property is on acres of land, alont the river,very quaint and peaceful. You cannot go wrong with Le Mas des Sables, best place in Aigues Mortes!

We booked for 8 nights friendly welcome staff able to converse well even though my French is poor.
We asked to change rooms as only had a bath able to accommodate this request. Required a shower.
Breakfast was varied choice though continental only.
Evening menu good but does not change if you are on a long stay.
However Aigues Morte has a vast choice of good eateries .
Lovely big pool to swim in and relax by.
Rooms have good air conditioning which was needed temps 33 on average.
We will definitely return again just minor point for the management
1 consider fixed shower heads as it is quite a performance to enjoy whilst holding the shower head in one hand.
2 a menu that changes to give longer stay guests more choice.
3 maybe a hot choice dish at breakfast

The Camargue is, of course, heaven with its bulls and cowboys, its salt flats and stallions and the glorious walled city of Aigues-Mortes in which is the Mas des Sables a three star hotel ten minutes from the city. I was there with a group of French friends.. We had booked en masse and were lodged in excellent chalets in the grounds. The rooms were spacious and the facilities totally adequate. We were catered for as a group so had no choice of food but every meal was a joy and the wine with it excellent.
We obviously had the world-renowned local beef dish - and saw the cowboys and bulls - and we ate chicken and cuttlefish and good cheese. Service throughout was efficient, friendly, prompt and smiling. The rooms were serviced to a high standard every day - and remember we were a coach party.
The hotel is a few seconds' walk from the canal along which we strolled and watched herons and some of the famous white horses and heard a cuckoo and saw egrets. Through the hotel grounds, carefully avoiding the ducks and their droppings, we passed a beautiful tortoise and arriving at the hotel's large outdoor swimming pool watched a duck doing doggy paddle in the chlorinated water.
This place has to be visited. It has large communal facilities as well and free Wi Fi !
