The hotel used to be a nice place. It needs a major revamping. The only good thing about it is the sea view. But you can get this feature in neighboring hotels.
The internet in the rooms does not work properly, despite highlighting this issue to the hotel management, they could not do anything about it.
The food quality at breakfast and buffet lunch and dinner is a basic average. If you are a first time tourist into the UAE, you will be impressed. If you have been to other similar hotels, you will realize that the quality of their buffet is very basis.
Rooms are clean.
A la carte restaurants: Very good
Buffet : Mediocre.
Overall advise: There are other better alternatives for the same price.

We stayed here October break 2017. Not to busy even if vacation time in Europe.
Very warm 38 degrees Celsius. 29 degrees in ocean and 27 to cool off in the pool.
Family suite was very nice and luxurious.
We had all inclusive and the breakfast was very good.
We always had indoors lunch to cool off.
Buffet Dinner looked messy and we always choose a la cartel restaurants. Thai we liked very much. Indian good as well.
We live close to Italy so Italian we did not enjoy as not authentic.
Spa was very nice. Used the packages with rebate. They have them every day.
Only challenge is the Long transfer from both Abu Dhabi 3h and Dubai 1h 45 min.

It was a long drive from Dubai but once you arrive, it's all worth the stay. We actually didn't got the chance to swim in the beach due to oil spill but it doesn't ruin our weekend. The hotel is great with friendly staff, delicious breakfast with lots of selection to choose from, and comfortable beds big enough rooms. I'll recommend this hotel with my friends, definitely!

Its my second time here in Le Meridien this time we stayed for 1 night. The place never fail to amaze me, the pool, the beach, the staff and their activities. Since we came early in the morning we had more time to try their oversized chess, their snake and ladder and if you love gold they have mini golf game there 😉

The hotel was recommended to us by a work colleague of my husband's, but having travelled to Dubai quite a few times before, we thought it was too far away from 'real Dubai'. When we first arrived, I did think we could have been in any chain hotel anywhere in the world - having been used to the opulence of Dubai hotels. I was very much mistaken! The service across the board was absolutely outstanding, the superior rooms are huge - plenty big enough for two adults and two children, all rooms overlook the pool/beach, the variety of restaurants covers all tastes and the facilities for children are great - kids club, kids movie nights, watersports, diving school. We recently stayed over half term and despite our booking not being found, the manager upgraded us to the Royal Suite for the first two nights and then into a club room on the 18th floor for the remaining three nights (having booked a standard room initially). Huge hands up to Jameela in the beach restaurant who catered to my two children's meal requests - including getting my son a pizza from the Italian restaurant, arranging a fabulous table for my husband's birthday and bringing a cake out for him, Dino from Al Boom Diving who gave my son a free diving lesson and gave us a discount on the para-sailing (three of us, but only paid for two), all the staff in the Italian restaurant who were so helpful and arranged a really special table for our last night at the hotel. My mother in law came with us this time and being a notorious complainer (!), we were massively surprised that she had nothing but fantastic things to say about the hotel. So much so, that we're all looking at going over for Christmas/New Year 2018! CANNOT FAULT THIS HOTEL AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY looking for the heat/service of Dubai, but not the price!
