Ever wanted to be treated like a VIP?
Then come to Chiang Mai and stay at the Le Meridien.
My first trip to Chiang Mai was in 2010.
Coming back after years the still recognize me there and treat me like I am someone special.
Every one greet me with my name, the staff know all the things I like and also the things I can‘t eat because of a allergy. So they care about me and telling me which food is dangerous for me.
And the take there time to have a chat with you if you are sitting alone.
The spa is great too, big, nice and clean. And all for a reasonable price.
And if you ever have a problem, the hotel manager will take care about it and make it to her own problem and work out a solution with you.
The food is great too, and for sure you have to try out the Italian Restaurant there.
In front of the hotel is a daily night market. And the big night market on the Saturday night is not far away too. The river is close by.
And the city center is in a walking distance.
And if you need any help to arrange your trip or going to a place around Chiang Mai the Concierge is happy to help you.
I am sure, if you come here once then you will come back again.

Very clean and quiet. Happy hour and breakfast are served in the Club. Ask for a menu at breakfast; there are eggs made to order. The room was comfortable and they replenished our towels in the morning and everning. The pool is a bit cold but perfect for swimming laps. The work out rooms is much better than most with good, working equipment. Great signature drinks in the lobby bar; happy hour from 6-8 pm. Good staff nice place.

Having spg Gold status, I expect a modest upgrade, but not necessarily anything more. So imagine my surprise and delight when Le Meridien Chiang Mai bumped me up to a huge suite. Very nice, and most appreciated, and the kind of action that for sure builds loyalty. The suite was gorgeous, and service throughout the hotel was flawless, as was the food from Room Service. Can't think of a better place to stay in the center of it all.

Came to Chiangmai for the Yipeng Festival and was glad that we chose Le Meridian. Not only was the hotel near the Ping River where we set off our lanterns and krathongs, it was next to the night bazaar and many eateries.
But most important was the efficient and warm services l received. On the first night l complained that the mattress and pillow was too soft for my comfort and immediately a guest service staff .....korn (sorry l forgot his name) came to offer help although it was close to his knock off time.
The next day l was upgraded to a lovely big suite that came with firm mattress with topper and pillow. He politely asked me to try the mattress to see whether it ok with me.l was really touched by his thoughtfulness and service.For the next few nights l really slept very well.
Thanks again for the great service and l will strongly recommend it and will definitely stay here again .

As a first timer to Chiang Mai, Le Meridien is a perfect hotel to stay, and soaked in great atmosphere. Staff here are amicable and friendly. The best is its location which is close to the night market and shops. V business oriented environment with good service and a sumptuous buffet spread.
Will hope to return one day
