Stunning location on a sleepy part of the river Seine in the small village of Connelles. We enjoyed cocktails before dinner and had a wonderful candlelit table in the window overlooking the river which was lovely as it was our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. So glad we found this little gem.

We spent four days here in August, following a wedding elsewhere in Normandy. The hotel is well tucked away and quiet, except for the occasional car and river traffic. The nearest shops are a ten minute drive away. The building and furnishings are a little tired and some paint would be welcome here and there but it is a truly charming hotel in a lovely spot. It is a very small hotel and therefore the staff, who were all kind, polite and welcoming, can provide truly personal service. We ate at the hotel twice and it was a truly gastronomic experience. There is also a bistro a five minute walk away, jointly run with the hotel, if you want something simple for dinner. It is not cheap, either staying or eating here but it is worth it. I would certainly stay here again if I was in the area.

What a super treat, a surprise! Set in a gorgeous area on the river Seine. Tranquility and nature meandering with a hotel that offers a friendly fantastic helpful services.
Our evening meal was superb; a fine dining experience by candlelight.
Our dog was welcomed and he could be walked in the beautiful surroundings.
Lounging chairs were placed on the banks of the Seine, there were free rowing boats and our family thoroughly enjoyed practicing French with the friendly staff.
Our rooms were perfect and we absolutely loved our one night stay, the only down side was that we wish it could have been longer.

Friendliest, most elegant and best located hotel right on the Seine. You won't "stumble" over this hotel - you will need a SatNav. Beautiful chateau, elegantly furnished public rooms and bedrooms. Some have jacuzzi and double rain showers. Dining room overlooks a very peaceful area of the Seine, which flows underneath. Food is excellent. The proprietor is one of the most charming we have ever met, and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. We arrived from Angouleme and one of the greatest pleasures after a long drive, mostly through torrential rain, was to sit on the terrace with our favourite aperitifs in the warm sunshine and watch the river flow by. It was the last night of our holiday, and we couldn't have had a better location. Only 2-3 hours from Calais, it is easy to get to and we will definitely be back.

Just two and a half hours drive from Calais is this wonderfully romantic hotel situated above the Seine. I've just taken my wife for our Wedding anniversary and could not fault anything - beautiful room, wonderful food and, above all, extremely friendly staff who made our stay so special - thank you Karine! For garden or art lovers, it's only 30 mins drive to Monet's garden at Giverny or for history lovers, only 30 mins drive to Rouen. Can't praise this hotel highly enough!
