Very welcoming
Jill Mon 10/06/2017 21:38We came across this place by chance and weren't disappointed. From the moment we stepped we were made to feel very welcome. The new owners bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy your stay. We stayed in one of the new comfort rooms which had a beautiful view of the snow topped mountain. The room was very spacious and had a really comfortable bed. If we are ever in that vicinity again we would definitely put a stay at the Le Panoramic on our itinerary. Thank you
New owners offer warm welcome in a lovely setting
Richard Con 22/04/2017 12:18As the name implies, the hotel offers a great view of the surrounding mountains and is close to ski resorts and Grenoble. The new owners are a young couple who have a great command of English and offered a very warm welcome. The room was clean and peaceful and there is a lovely terrace and back garden for families. We ate very well in the restaurant.
Lack of Respect for Guests
sjw111on 12/10/2016 20:06I have travelled extensively in Europe, lately on group car tours. Never have I experienced a hotelier who was so ill prepared, and showed so little respect for his guests.
If you were expecting 10 people occupying 7 rooms, expecting dinner, would you have just 3 bottles of beer available, just one choice for dinner (see the next review below), and no cream ?
Yes, it was cheap, but not as cheap as a very pleasant hotel in the Black Forest we visited the next week who greeted us at the door, brought plenty of beer to us on the terrace, and had simply excellent food.
Requesting payment the night before was highly unusual, showing distrust of guests. My discussion with the owner seemed civilised, and was followed by payment by the majority, so calling the police was extremely inappropriate, and highly insulting.
