If you like views and out of town then this could be the place for you. You do need a car as it is about 8 km from the city along narrow country roads.Absolutely stunning views! Sadly this hotel needs some tender loving care. The staff were friendly and tried hard but there is no owner presence or sense of care. Room was adequate but most things look tired and need revamping.
Patio chairs broken and rusted tables, shower did not seal, bed side lamp did not work.No central heating worked and were told this is only available from 1 October. The food was fine and we enjoyed our stay.
The owner needs a real wake up call because there is so much potential here which would make this spot a real gem !

We stayed here for just one night whilst on our contiki trip. We arrived in the evening quite late I believe so we didn't see the outside well until the morning. I thought the room we stayed in was really nice! I liked the comfy bed and I slept very well that night. I liked the colours in the room and the art work on the walls. In the morning we would of had breakfast but unfortunately I can't comment on because I can't actually remember what it was like! That's what its like on a contiki! But we left that morning and I saw how cute the surroundings were and the hilly views. I would have liked to stay longer, but contiki calls!

The restaurant was not so clean. And this restaurant needs a better management.
Very poor service but not rude.
The dishes was not really cleaned ...
Sad to see this Hotel like this, i sleep once there a few years ago and was amazing, now seems that nobody cares.

We came for ice cream and drinks in the afternoon on a sunny day. Service was VERY slow (so slow in fact that 3 tables left without being served). The order was delivered incorrectly: we ordered the Coupe Schwartzwald with cherries and it came with mixed berries. No apologies from rather unhelpful, uncaring and unmotivated staff. Needless to say we will NEVER return, despite a great view. An extremely disappointing experience.

Had great difficulty finding it - only in the end with the help of a very kind local who led us in his car with us following. Incredible views, helpful and friendly staff, very good food.
Unfortunately room was VERY poor. Light bulbs broken, wardrobe broken and shower leaked.
Lets down what could be an ideal place to stay - we only stayed overnight thankfully
