Traveled with 12 and 14 year old for concert at First Direct Arena. Location, location, location. Easy walk from train-don’t get in cab-easily 5 minute walk. Hotel check in smooth, great customer service. Room was standard King and kids had twin beds in their rooms. Room small-but always expect this in Europe. Bed and room comfortable and had everything we needed. Hall carpet and rooms need renovation, definitely tired. Hotel super clean just tired. Bathroom/shower small but great experience. Hotel beautifully decorated for Xmas. Club lounge small but great selection of snacks and drinks. Stocked up on water and was able to have 2 beers before going out. Penne pasta with pesto, chili, chips, cheese selection-very nice! Ate lunch in hotel restaurant-wide selection and everything really good. Burger, fries, chicken, pork tacos-all very good. We love Marriott. Lots of restaurant selections around entire hotel and great shopping. View of hallway and room 324 views.

We had a lovely stay at the Marriott; finding the location, overall standards and staff to be excellent. First impressions were very good, with the hotel located in a picturesque courtyard and boasting a stylish lobby. The check in staff were very friendly and we were given two rooms on the third floor. The concierge was fantastic and sourced a wheelchair for my Dad to use during our stay; even finding a bicycle pump to inflate the tyres which were flat as it hadn’t been used for a while!
The rooms were very spacious with effective temperature control and comfortable beds/ pillows. There was a coffee table and armchair in the window as well as a large desk and office chair. There was also a range of lighting with good storage and a full length mirror. The bathroom was large and the shower very powerful.
Parking is offered in the neighbouring multi storey with a preferential rate for hotel guests- I believe the full rate for 24 hrs is £20 but it only costs £9 when you get your ticket validated at reception. The hotel is very central, minutes away from the main areas of shops, bars and restaurants. Leeds railway station is also within a short walk. I look forward to staying again when I next visit Leeds.

I have been working in leeds for a few weeks and as such tried several of the hotels in the city centre.
This one, in my opinion, is the best i have stayed in. The rooms are clean, comfortable, warm and spacious. With generous bathrooms. The service and lobby to the hotel are nice, and festively decorated to a high standard. The gym is split over 3 small spaces but has everything you would need for a decent workout. The pool and hot tub are large and comfortable.
Ordered room service a couple of nights and its was brilliant, quick and very tasty. Reasonably priced too.
The location is excellent for the train station and for the trinty centre.
Would highly recommend.

High standard Marriott. A little tucked away so make sure you follow sat nav carefully and drive slowly once in town. You need to have your car parked as limited parking.
The whole place is welcoming, rooms very bright, clean and modern.

Arrived too early for check in after a long drive up from Suffolk. Getting into the car park from the hotel is tricky, but luckily it wasn’t busy had time to manoeuvre into the car park. Probably better to follow the signs for the car park from the main road. That was the only real negative.
Room wasn’t ready so left bags with concierge. The room is small and a bit dated but was very clean and quite. Had a lovely swim and used the steam room, unfortunately the sauna was broken.
Went out for supper and then to some bars. We were a bit apprehensive about noise in the hotel as it is so centrally located but we had a wonderful night sleep.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Had another swim and even though there was a toddlers swim class going on. Check out was painless and the car parking was cheap after getting the ticket validated.
