Brilliant Hotel

I stayed here on a short trip with my partner for 2 nights and we loved it. Very handy location as it was only a 5/10 minute walk to the main street or train station. Nice bar area although a little strange positioning as ifs right next to reception and you almost feel like it's in a hall way..? But it was comfortable. We did enjoy the buffet breakfast on one morning however we had a train at 08:15 on one of the days and were not aware that breakfast would be later (8-11) on the weekends otherwise we wouldn't have prepaid for breakfast for both days. The hotel was today and it was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. All staff were super welcoming and helpful.

Accommodation as expected for 3 star hotel . Was clean and suitable for our stay Staff member 'Alex' helped with a few booking issues, which I was very grateful for. Good location and free parking spaces.
Yoghurt

We attended the Legacy for my Birthday bash with a few mates. When we arrived early afternoon there was plenty of room in the car park, but we weren't able to Check-In as we were slightly early, so we were able to leave our bags with staff while we popped into town for a quick mooch about.
The Legacy was just a 5 minute walk from the town centre, and easy to find. It was clean, tidy and nicely done up, without being too fancy.
Our room was spacious, and I think it had everything needed, although I didn't spend much waking time in it to find out.
I did actually use the iron and ironing board for once, which was handily stored in the wardrobe.
There were tea/coffee making facilities, and a Safe.
The bathroom was a wet room, which was very large and had a good facilities.
I was too leathered to tell you whether the bed was comfy, but it did it's job.
There was an Buffet style Breakfast, which I'd be looking forward to, but unfortunately more hangover restricted me to a mere Yoghurt! Absolutely gutted!
All in all, an ideal location for a Night Out in Preston, and certainly somewhere I would stop again.
Good Hotel at a Great Price

I can echo the comments of the many other guests who recommend this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed and good sized. Everything is clean and comfortable. Prices make this a real bargain. If you stay on the top (6th floor) you have the impression of being in a small, boutique inn (and get good views of Preston). Location is adjacent to the University of Central Lancashire (Uclan). Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is good, but nothing special, basically your standard Full English. Vegetarians and those who avoid pork products will find enough to eat. However, the evening meals are excellent. There are traditional English options as well as international favourites, all well made. As some reviewers have commented, it does take about half an hour after ordering for food to arrive. This is because it is prepared to order. There are no chips languishing under warming lights. Just relax, have a drink, read a book, or make conversation. You will find the food worth the wait.
