Stayed in a basic cabin during the autumn school-break, perfect cosy and warm place at walking distance of Legoland and the brand new Home of the Brick! Friendly and helpfull staf and lots of wonderfull Lego-built items around

We stayed at the western cabin and enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and tidy and the holiday village offered a lot of fun things for kids to do. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent as LegoLand is just a few minutes walk away.
Also the neighboring LaLandia is worth a visit with lots of indoor activities for families and nice restaurants as well. The supermarket there has more selection than the holiday village supermarket.

We wanted to book a short break to Legoland in Billund Denmark, however getting there from the North West is not as easy as it sounds. The best way to go is to fly with KLM via Amsterdam, unfortunately direct flights are very expensive, which is why we chose to book an indirect flight.
We stayed in a pirate themed room at the holiday village, a buffet style eat as much as you like breakfast was included in the price, which had a wonderful choice of hot and cold food, meats, cheese, cerals and fruit, and also make your own pancakes which went down well with everyone. The staff are very helpful, the place is great fun to stay at especially if you have children (we are just big kids at heart). Every room has a treasure chest of lego in it so idle hands won't get bored. The holiday village itself is, as the details state 450 mtrs from the Legoland park, a mere 5 or 7 minute walk. Legoland park is also great fun, I would advise purchasing a 2 day ticket which is valid over a 6 day period but its wise to check this on your first day of entry. There is plenty to do in the park itself there are rides for the very small and the very adventurous. Billund itself is a small town, with the recent addition of a new building call the Lego House, this is well worth a visit, more about that on another review. It is worth noting that things can be quite expensive in Denmark. Overall we had a great 3 night break, it was well worth the trip.

High price but good service. Best place for family trip to legoland billund. Rest rooms are limited. Very friendly personal. Very Large place for playing in LEGO style. Our children were very happy to be there.
