Very friendly and helpful personal. The studio has got everything you need, comfortable and well equipped. The shuttle, free of charge, takes you every day till 2pm directly to the Palais du Festival. If you don't have to be at the festival at 8 am just enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor swimming pool before your breakfast.

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at this hotel. It is more of a self catering apartment than a hotel so seeing some of the reviews about not being provided with endless toilet rolls, dish washer tablets or bin bags makes me laugh. The rooms are basic and could do with a refresh but on all 3 visits they have been clean. They are a good size and we have had both the 1 bed apartment and the 2 bed. We have found the pool to be clean and well maintained. The maintenance staff tidy the pool area every morning and every other morning they use a little robot pool cleaner. The rest of the grounds are nice with table tennis and a boules court which is lit at night. The downstairs bar area is nice and the staff put on activities most days in peak season. This year the inflatable obstacle course in the pool was very good for the children. The bar is a bit of a let down as they often run out of things so don't rely on getting a drink. The staff are generally helpful although one person lacks customer service skills. The location of the bus stop outside is very handy for getting into Cannes. We always hire a car and visit places like Monaco, Italy and Grasse and the location is good for getting on the A8. I can understand some of the poorer reviews to an extent as the rooms are quite basic but for us this hotel makes it an affordable to stay in a relatively expensive part of France during school holidays. Another bonus is that there seem to be very few Brits (like us!) staying with many of the other guests being French. There always seems to be a good atmosphere and everyone is very friendly.

We arrived around 8,30 am and our travel agent had informed the hotel about our early arrival. Although when arriving no reception staff and when one finally appeared she rudely informed me they are full and busy and we can have a room by 12. Nothing she can do about it. The room a studio on the 5th floor was extremely hot with 2 fans running in the room. Extremely basic room although it worked for us. Bathroom was old, dirty and run down. The toilet was the same. We had 2 loo rolls for 5 nights and had to acquire more else were. I had to ask for clean towels and linen as it didn't seem standard to supply clean linen in this hotel. When asked if no cleaning was included i was told it was €40, to be honest i could have cleaned it better myself. We opted out of the breakfast as it looked so basic and not worth the money. The kitchen in the apartment had no bags for the bins, 1 cleaning tablets for the dishwasher and no cleaning clothes. Extreamly basic even though we only made breakfast in the room. Who goes and buys bags, cloths and dishwasher tablets on holiday.
The pool area was ok and provided beds. Although on our 3rd evening the children went for a late night dip in the pool and after a while my daughter realized there was poo/faeces next to the pool. Disgusted by this the children was taken out of the pool and sent for washing and my husband informed the receptionist about our findings. Next morning around 9,20 we left for an outing and looked down the pool area and the poo was still there. The receptionist decided against cleaning it away and clean the pool. Revolting!!!
The hotel is next to a bus stop with good communication to central Cannes, with fares of €1,50 a person.
5 nights was more then enough and not planning on returning.

Inter-Hotel Les Agapanthes de L'Esterel was really an awful hotel experience. The neighborhood is not nice at all and the hotel is a dirty place. Personel are few and they try their best, but the combination of dogs and carpets makes this place hard to keep in decent shape. The pictures showing nice apartments are not representative as these are only a few renovated 3 bedroom apartments on the first floor. Pool water is not clear and does not smell right. Breakfast is a joke.

Just return from a 5 night stay here, even thou I paid the travel agent the hotel tried to charge me again on check in and check out!!! Handing me my bill twice. Staff barely speak English and little help when I needed to call a French taxi firm to confirm my pre booked and paid taxi back to airport, I ended up calling the uk emergency number. The room was ok, very basic and the bathroom needed ceiling repairs and a refit, bath would stain after use it was so old! No kettle just a coffee percolator which wasn't what we expected, booked a double room for two but had one chair and no table on the balcony so couldn't use it, don't get offered room 109 you are so close to the terrace area and the gate to the pool you hear every noise going, can't keep your shutter up either as everyone can see in. Day before we left we asked for a late check out and we're happy to pay, we got a very abrupt reply no we are full, we sat out in the gardens until we left at 12:55 and not one housekeeper went near our room, so we could have kept it and they could have made money.
No air con in rooms and only seen they had fans the day before we left, wifi pretty shocking for something they offered as a incentive on website.
One member of staff looking after reception and bar, and get funny with you when you want a drink, as they have to come through to make drinks which are limited and then go back to reception to take payment. Asked for fresh towels on Saturday for Sunday, came to 5pm still hadn't had them, went to reception and was greeted with a rude reply you are suppose to ask the day before, to which I replied I did and I asked you and you filled the form out to do this in front of me!
We didn't spend much time here thankfully the communal areas are clean and garden and pool keep clean too.
I would return to Cannes but not this hotel.
