Slightly disappointing

Negatives:
It is situated about twenty minutes by car from the centre of Bolzano on a fairly busy road.
The rooms, although very clean and comfortable, are old-fashioned and could do with an upgrade.
The restaurant lacks atmosphere and the food is quite expensive for the quality.
The breakfast is adequate but not as good as expected with a limited choice.
Positives:
The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and speak a number of languages, mainly German, Italian and French.
Free underground parking.
Free wifi.
In summary, not a terrible experience but would not stay there again.
Great relax experience.

Very clean room with a balcony, no rumor.
Lovely staff and nice restaurant on the 1st floor. The welness area has a Turkish bath, Finland bath and sensory shower that is included in price of room. Also it has a room for relax where i got a cup of nicest tea i've ever had.
The location of this hotel is a little bit far from the center. But if you have a car you'll be there in 10 minutes.
Very nice experience. Highly recommended.

ge0rgianaon 18/11/2016 18:15We stayed here for one night en route to Italy and would happily choose this hotel again. On the outskirts of Bolzano, it was not difficult to find, just be prepared to do a sharp left into the hotel grounds immediately after the right turn at the traffic lights. Secure underground parking is available 100 yards further up the road. You are given a key to this along with access keys at check-in.
Our room was on the ground floor in the building to the right of the archway; it faced the road but we were not aware of traffic noise. It was an adequately sized room, featuring light coloured wood and white decoration, somewhat minimalist in style, with a comfortable, large bed and a well appointed bathroom with a walk-in shower, all very modern. There was free wifi, a flat screen tv, individual bedside lights over the bed, and a nice touch was a vase of 'flowers'.
Parking is free as is the buffet breakfast and access to the new 'wellness' facility which I believe includes a sauna, turkish bath and sensory showers although we did not have time to visit this. Breakfast was eaten in the conservatory and there is also a very nice outside seating area with views to the nearby mountain. Friendly staff, some of whom spoke more than one language which is always a bonus.
Upmarket hotel in Bolzano
ukjawson 30/08/2016 01:37We had a small suite. This was well furnished with a good AC system. It had a large balcony with a pleasant view. Parking is available in a secure underground car park.
The hotel has a fine restaurant we are told, but was closed on the night we arrived. Breakfast was of good quality and a good selection of cold meats, cheeses and fruits were available.
The staff were very friendly and attentive though did not speak English which caused a few difficulties.
There were wellness facilities but we didn't have time to investigate them.
We could recommend this hotel as a good base for seeing the historic sites of Bozen. Though not cheap, the price was fair for the facilities and room style.

Hugh Mon 24/05/2016 13:34This place is an absolute gem. Family run it ticks all the boxes. Fantastic staff, modern clean rooms, a super restaurant and free parking. The food was superb all home made and beautifully served and presented. OK it is only 3 Stars but offers tremendous value.
