We stayed with two other families - 13 of us in total, in August. All were in agreement that the hotel was excellent.
The staff were, without exception, professional, approachable and helpful. The rooms were large and well furnished. The pool, sauna and jacuzzis were excellent. There is a small games room for the kids.
Where the hotel really excelled for us was the food. We normally have one or two nights eating at a local restaurant when going all inclusive - just for a change. At Liebe Sonne there was no way we were ever going to miss a single night of culinary delights. Every evening the food was delicious, we looked forward to each meal and were never disappointed. The house beer and wine were well received - we particularly liked the rose.
For us, the resort was ideally situated in the Austrian Alps - with easy access to walking, cycling, area 47, thermal pools and more. The '007 Spectre' restaurant at the top of the mountain is a must - we can recommend their apple strudel.

Hotel was in a great location. The Gaislachkogl double room we had was a good size room, even with an extra bed and very clean. It was at the back of the hotel and was quiet. The food was excellent with a good choice for breakfast and nice evening meals. Staff were friendly and lots of families were staying. It was good value and we would recommend it.

Service and very neat personal, very close to the ski lift Gigijochbahn (a few minutes away),
Super food, and friendly staff to help you. You choose in the evening what you want to eat (be careful, it's all tasty ! ). I've been coming back for years now, just for the food (and the sky pistes are also good ).
You will return completely reborn, it has this effect on me.

The standard double room is very basic, feels like it is in need of renovation/modernization. It is ok in terms of space, room for wardrobe, has a separate restroom and bathroom which is good, a small terrace, comfy bed and TV with plenty of channels. But as said, it is simply not cozy enough or modern.
Food as in more or less all Austrian hotels looks better then it tastes.So too much effort on the serving vs. the taste of the food, but on a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it 6.
Location is the best part of the hotel as it is 50m from the main gondola, and the hotel has a good ski depot, and you can arrange ski courses and buy ski passes via the reception.
The SPA area is solid. Has a decent size pool with very warm water which is a huge plus since in other hotels the water is too cold to enter. It also has a sauna for people who do not want to be naked which is nice. Then separately there is a SPA area where naked is mandatory with Jacuzzi, 2 different saunas, steam bath etc.
Staff is another weak point, especially at the reception where they do not even try to be friendly or not to mention give you a smile god forbid. So like they ask in the CV for the people to be stone cold, not a good feeling and not something we have experienced in the other Austrian hotels.
Wi-fi is very poor, so poor connection and speed all over the hotel....cannot believe this since it is very expensive hotel.
Overall a ok stay but would probably try a different hotel next time in Soelden.

My family traveled here for a week after spending a week in Garmisch Germany. The town of Solden is touristy and packed it. There are far more beautiful towns in Austria, but we had a great time here because this hotel had many advantages. When you stay there, you get a tourist card that allows you to use the bus system and cable cars. The food at the hotel was 5 star. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and sauna were very nice. There was also a small playground just across the street that my children liked. We also enjoyed the daily hiking and biking trips they offered. The guide was very friendly and helpful.
