Our stay was brief here. It's a nice hotel save for two things- only one elevator was working AND while attempting to fix that one elevator there was disturbing noise made at an early morning hour. About 8am. It didn't effect us b/c we needed to get back to Paris but if we had intended on sleeping in that morning- simply very tacky to have loud power tools rattling at that hour.
But alas, our room was spacious, we enjoyed opening the balcony door and stepping outside to take photos and the bed was firm/comfortable.
Our favorite part was swimming in the pool at 8am-ish. We had it all to ourselves!
And have nice photographs as a momento.
Walking in to the village was lovely at night and in the morning- about 15-20 minutes. Very picturesque.
This is a gorgeous property.
They provide valet parking, also, if you are wondering.

easy walk into town which takes you along the lake side. hotel has 3 restaurants, the brasserie serves tasty simple food with a novel dessert option, basically a trolley with sweeties on it and an island with a variety of desserts, all nice, and it was help yourself. Lots of locals in the night we ate there which I think is a good sign. The la Voile was excellent value for money, lovely interesting food and nice surroundings, staff very helpful.
We stayed in a room with a terrace which was great but stank of cigarettes as you are able to smoke on terraces, we would go for a different option if visiting again. Hotel were fine and sorted problem for us. There is a pool and spa, but you pay for pool access apparently if not booked into a suite. We didn't have time to use this facility but it looked lovely.
the downside of having a room overlooking park and lake was it was noisy at night, we were woken 2 evenings by noise.
Easy access to main roads and motorway for exploring. We had rented a car and did quite a bit of sightseeing away from Annecy.
Finally remember to take id if going to casino, even if it is only to eat in the restaurant there.

This is a gorgeous old hotel on beautiful lake Annecy. The lake view rooms are set back and don't have a balcony but have beautiful views. Where this hotel completely drops the ball is the service of the staff on the terrace. Waiters didn't like to make eye contact. It took us over an hour to get one drink. It is a lovely walk along the lake to the old town. We made this trip several times a day to work off all the great food.

The building is beautiful but the rooms are rather average and a bit old fashioned. However very clean and well equiped. The SPA area with pool was nice and probably more recent than the rest of the facilities.
As for the staff they are very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a pleasure to stay there and I would go back.

The place is amazing and the people there are so lovely, but the furniture in the rooms has to be replaced with a new one becaus it looks old.
