Feeling Blue, But Not at Lina Ryad

Beautiful hotel with well-designed, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Roof top terrace provides great views of the surrounding town and mountains. Led by Ibrahim, the staff at Lina Ryad were extremely friendly and accommodating. Without going into too much detail, my wife and I arrived at Lina Ryad already feeling under the weather and the staff took great care to provide us with over the top service. Would highly recommend staying at Lina Ryad if you plan to pass through the enchanting City of Chefchaouen.

We stayed in Lina Ryad 2 nights, the staff were amazing, so friendly, fluent in English (and I presume French too, although I do not). The included breakfast was a delicious spread of traditional Moroccan breakfast foods with so much we could barely eat it all. The location is perfect, right on the main pedestrian Avenue through the heart of the Medina, perfect base to explore and get lost in the gorgeous blue allys of Chefchaouene. The rooftop terrace has view to die for and the wonderful staff can serve tea and meals on the terrace on request.
The staff were totally accommodating of our early check out, preparing us a full breakfast 30 minutes before the official start time with no fuss.
The hotel is not accessible by car to the door, but theyou have a guy who can meet you at the nearest drop-off point and help with bags/ directions if prearranged.
So accommodating

We were unsure of how many nights we wanted to stay in Chefchaouen when we originally booked this riad. They were so accommodating and actually put us on a wait-list when we asked to stay another night. Since the riad was booked we figured our chances were slim. They approached us at breakfast on the last morning and said that we could stay for the third night and we could even stay in the same room without moving. The staff was friendly and the complimentary Moroccan breakfast every morning was delicious. The spa was nice however I’m pretty sore due to the fact that the masseuse dug her knuckles into my muscles repeatedly. Maybe that’s a Moroccan thing! Overall lovely experience! Definitely recommend.
Lovely hotel

The hotel has a lovely location with beautiful views of the city. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area was lovely. Not all rooms have views so I suggest you request a room with a view else you can walk to the terrace for amazing views.the breakfast was lovely... negatives: no car access to hotel so please call hotel on arrival and arrange Porter to fetch luggage as it's an uphill cobblestone walk to hotel. No rooms on ground floor so for the elderly suggest request room on first floor so just one set of stairs to walk up as there are no elevators.
A hidden oasis!

The minute you walk into the Riad Lina you are taken back in time. The Riad is absolutely stunning. The staff is warm and welcoming and being greeted with a traditional Moroccan tea ceremony was lovely. The room we were in was beautiful and we had a view out to the Medina. Hearing the call to prayer each day was beautiful. We made use of their spa facilities and highly recommend their services, including a traditional Hamman massage. Definitely go away feeling refreshed and revived! I cannot speak highly enough about the location. You are in the heart of the Medina and this is where (we believe) you would want to stay to experience Chefchaouen. A definite gem -
