I would class this as a boutique-style hotel and it's definitely suited to couples not families. It's got quite an intimate feel about it and that is enhanced by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; Margareta, Sam, Giotta, Samuel, Flavio and Nikoletta - thank you for making our stay at the Lindos Sun so good.
Although situated on the road from Lindos to Pefkos, it's not too busy a road and road noise wasn't an issue. It's got a great view over Navarone Bay and is only a 15-20 minute stroll into Lindos.
The pool is a good size and there are plenty of comfy loungers surrounding it on the grassed perimeter. Towels are provided for a refundable deposit.
We booked a classic room which, in the main, was fine - spacious, airy, air-con, kettle, fridge, safe, small patio with patio set. It's only drawback was a small shower cubicle which was difficult for a 6', 16 stone man to manoeuvre in.
We mentioned this to reception who were only too happy to show us other available room options. We opted for the superior room with personal pool (not quite private - as per previous reviews) and were happy to pay the (reduced) nightly upgrade fee. The room was more modern, in the newer part of the hotel and really made the holiday for us with the convenience of our own mini pool and extended patio.
Half board is the standard here, I don't believe there are other board options. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice across the hot and cold sections. Dinner, too, was generally pretty good with a variety of choices across the hot and cold buffet - a 4/5 score for the food is a fair reflection. First class service from Margareta, Giotta and Samuel morning and night.
There is an interior, split level dining room and an outdoor dining area too. The outdoor area doubles up as the bar seating area on an evening. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices served by the charming Sam and Flavio.
The pool bar/restaurant serves drinks, meals and snacks throughout the day, again at a reasonable price and via the ever cheery Nikoletta.
The one thing this hotel does lack is a comfortable indoor (or outdoor) lounge area where guests can congregate and socialise when the weather isn't so good.
It was clear through speaking to others, that many were returning guests. Having spent a wonderful 10 days here we can see why and hope to return.

We have just spent 10 days, at the beautiful, peaceful, relaxing hotel. Caring staff, clean comfortable accommodation, authentic Greek food, which was varied and very tasty . If you want to relax it’s perfect, we love to walk and again was perfect to walk to the beach in lindos, good shoes needed. Would return tomorrow.

We stayed at Lindos Sun Hotel for a week in October. We stayed at the hotel last year so we were looking forward to returning abs we were not disappointed.
We booked the private pool room again which was as perfect as we had remembered. A couple of new additions this year being the hotel beach towels for your sun lounger and the Mini Bar in the room were very welcome. The hotel for us is perfect. The hotel is very striking in whitewashed colours and feels so traditionally Greek but still very modern. The rooms a very large but beautifully minimalist. The bed is extremely comfy. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day by lovely maids.
We would recommend the room service for lunch by the pool. The food at the Grill bar is delicious. We didn't have breakfast or dinner in the hotel as we don't eat breakfast and like to go into Lindos for dinner. The restaurant looked busy so imagine the food was good like the grill bar.
All in all wonderful hotel, so peaceful, great staff, great service, great location. Booked again for next year whilst we were there.

Great little hotel, a really nice Greek experience, we've been here twice now, rooms are lovely, clean comfortable, great pool, really nice gardens, all the staff were happy and friendly,food was really good, buffet style breakfast and dinner, and only a 15 min uphill stroll into the beautiful Lindos, what is there not to like :-)
Thanks to, Sam, Margarita and Flavio in the bar and the Omelette girl at breakfast.

We stayed at the lindos sun as a couple ,we booked a room with it's own pool,it was brilliant. .The staff are friendly and always smiling, nothing is to much trouble, the service at the bar and in the restaurant were second to none ...Location is good with an easy walk in to Lindos. ..The only criticism I can find is the food was Bearley warm....I would recommend this hotel ,it's very chilled and relaxing. ....
