First thing I noticed was that the staff members are very friendly and helpful along all the stay. Especially Sara gave me a lot of good tips for making the best out of my first visit of Lisbon.(Many thanks Sara!)
Concerning the room, mine was clean, facing an internal patio and extremely quiet: perfect for a good night sleep! The single bedroom was not big, but if you need space there is plenty of space in the common relaxing areas with comfortable sofa and chairs.
Bathrooms are shared, but they were always very clean and ready to use. Although the hostel was fully booked, I had never to wait to use the bathroom during my stay.
The guest house is also in a central location, well connected with buses and Metro. You can also reach downtown by walking.
I was skeptical before my arrival, but it turns out I made the right choice! Thanks to a quite bedroom, a cozy living room, an handy kitchen and a warm patio, I felt at home in the heart of Portugal!

We had a warm and cheerful reception on arrival, they gave us good tips and guidelines for visiting the city, there is a metro nearby, at a 100 meter from the hostel, with easy and quick acces to the city, even by foot its doable.The rooms are smal but clean, the towels an bed sheets were changed at least twice during are stay. Showers were cleaned at least once a day. The breakfast had plenty to offer. We had a really nice stay. Thanks staff.

Friendly & helpful staff, and in a relatively good location. But no getting away from the fact this place is a hostel rather than a hotel. Queing for the shower in the morning & a fairly boring breakfast, are the downsides.
An ok base for a couple of days in Lisbon.

I was sceptical about staying at a hostel, but after reading the great reviews, I decided to book it for my family of five. It was a pleasant surprise and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was very clean and the shared bathroom was great. I had my doubts, but after seeing how close it was to my room and my daughters, it was fine, just like home. I liked the security and how the staff makes sure it is secure for the guests and how to get in and out of the building and rooms. I like that they give only one key so you are responsible for it. I just love the breakfast in the morning, nothing fancy, but enough to start your day. The only complaint I had is that they should have screens on the windows as there were mosquitoes at night, and I had the back room and no wind, so the mosquitoes came in. Also, they have only a standing fan, but I think now they replaced it with a quieter one. I would definitely stay here again as I thoroughly enjoyed the place and the location, very quiet location and I felt safe. There is noise from the street, but after a long day, you don't notice it. Also, easy to catch a taxi or go to the metro down the street. You don't need to rent a car, just use the public transportation, very cheap to do that.

I stayed one night here. It was really better than my expectation. The cleanness was remarkably nice and I am satisfied to stay there. If I go to Lisbon again, I will book this place again. It is also very close to the Rota metro station.
