What a great inn. My husband and I were out in Mendocino for our anniversary trip. Stayed in room 223...what a great view and room. Loved the sunset and being right on the Pacific Ocean. Beds were comfy and the staff so nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a suite at one of the offsite properties and it was just beautiful! Definitely returning next year. We had this wonderful costal view and even with 2 other units in the building (Mallory House) it still felt as private as if we had a cottage to ourselves. The restaurant and bar had wonderful food, great service, and really took advantage of the coastal view.

My wife and I stayed for a day at Little River Inn, for my wife's b'day. The road from SF to Little river is long but there are patches, where you will cross Redwood Forest and that is amazing.
LRInn is located at a very scenic place and our room was overlooking the ocean. The room was clean and the wifi worked well. We loved the the rocking chairs in the balcony, where we could sit, sip wine looking at the beautiful ocean. Its was so quiet and peaceful.
The food is really good and the staff (Nirvana) was very friendly and courteous. Make sure you make a reserveation as the dining room fills up pretty quickly. They also have a nice golfing range and tennis courts. We tried our hand at some golf shots. It was good fun.
Overall a good getaway from SF and a beautiful property to sepnd a day.

We booked this Inn for our 24th anniversary and had no disappointments. In the dining room, our dinner was served promptly with friendly wait staff. A landscaped garden outside the large picture windows adds to the atmosphere well lit to enjoy even after dark. Room service is available for those choosing to eat in breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the views of the ocean. Only one minor glitch was a slow draining sink in the bathroom which we didn't report until our checkout. We will definitely be back again... hopefully before our next anniversary.

Totally charming hotel with lovely friendly staff. It seems popular so book in good time. We stayed in the main part of the hotel which is the older part; the room was very atmospheric and cosy. We did love the room (see photo) for its authentic old American feel but the majority of the accommodation was away from the main building and had balcony/terrace overlooking the coastline. That would have been nice to have, although I think probably all full .
The hotel has a lively, inviting bar and a good restaurant.
There are some super walks nearby along the coastline, reception can provide guide sheets.
