Incredible stay! Had no idea what a treat I was in for...

I absolutely loved my stay at Siolim House. I booked it for 3 nights and ended up staying 1 extra night because I didn't want to leave. It had started feeling like home :) The house itself is super charming just as you see in the photos but perhaps better because it's more intimate than you can tell from those.
My room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was a 4 poster bed with a mosquito net. It was soft and sheets were fresh. My bathroom was also very spacious with marble floors and a huge shower.
The breakfast is also very good and they have masala tea with cookies in the afternoon. The pool is perfection! I will be daydreaming of it when I get back home. The wifi is not very strong, that might be my only critique so I had to disconnect a bit but, on the upside of that, I met some incredible people those 4 days I was staying there. It might be also because it's a small guesthouse so you are likely to see and run in to all the guests but I had the most memorable days in Goa while staying there.
The staff is very attentive. Lindsay was very courteous always checking if I needed help planning my day and making arrangements. He even checked in with me after I left to make sure I made it to my next destination okay. Incredible service!
Also, I would suggest renting a scooter or a car so you can easily get to the beach. I don't drive either in India so I relied mostly on taxis and also got rides from friends but having a vehicle would be helpful for mobility.
If you want a quaint tranquil place to call home while you are in Goa this is just the right place! If I ever come back, which I hope I do, this is where I would like to return.
3.5 - you should Goa here

We only stayed in Siolim House after a mistaken choice to stay at the Park Hyatt Goa. Siolim House was much more what we were looking for—quaint, authentic, great service boutique hotel. Lindsay and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious lunch there prepared upon arrival and they immediately set us up with a scooter to explore South Goa. The only issue is that it was a faulty scooter with the battery disconnected which was not a welcome surprise when it stalled when we were at the beach urgently needing to get back to the hotel to leave to catch our flight. The staff saw how frantic we were upon return yet we didn’t get so much as an apology for that upon check out or a way to compensate for what was a terrible situation for us.
The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, yet the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night which made for an uncomfortable sleep.
We didn’t get to have dinner or spend time at the pool but it looked quite quaint. Wifi though was super slow!! :(
It was fun to have Siolim house as a base to be around North Goa. We didn’t want to spend too much time at the hotel so it worked out. Perfect hub for a laid back and chill vacation. Would come back!
Amazing stay - thoroughly recommended!

My girlfriend and I recently spent 8 days at Siolim House and enjoyed every moment of it.
The house is located in a beautiful village in North Goa, away from the craziness of it all so you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet but still close enough to get to wherever you need to go!
The house itself is beautiful and incredibly restored. We spent a fair amount of time in and around the pool as it was a lovely and serene environment to relax and hang out.
The rooms were nice and clean with filtered water always available and topped up every day.
All of the staff were super sweet and very knowledgeable. When we needed a tip, they were always on hand with good advice. We even received some recipes from the lovely Deeptirna on how to make some of the Indian foods we were enjoying both in their restaurant and on our travels.
Overall, we would thoroughly recommend Siolim House and are hoping to return at some point!
Laid back and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We were unsure what to expect from the guesthouse having stayed in hotels during the rest of our trip in India, but we thoroughly enjoyed the laid back environment accompanied by the friendly staff who work extremely hard to make your stay enjoyable. The house is beautiful and clearly a lot of work has been done to modernize it whilst maintaining the authentic feel of a colonial era building.
Lindsay has a depth of knowledge of the area and was helpful in recommending the best local restaurants, beaches and excursions. The food was as good as any local restaurant and the chef was very accommodating, even cooking the crabs we caught earlier that day for us upon request. We would highly recommend staying at the house to anyone passing through Goa.
Best place you could choose to stay in Goa

Wholeheartedly believe this place is the most beautiful property around. Goa is full of a lot of generic tourist traps but this is not one of them. The rooms are huge, the garden/pool is lovely, the assistant manager and chef were extremely helpful and dinner was very good portions and good food. The tv/library room makes for a lovely peaceful evening. Assistant manager organised day tours, got us a moped and helped us work out where to go. Strongly recommend as a base in North Goa.
