8 of us went today for a Sunday lunch and really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and a yummy homemade cheesecake was the highlight for me, absolutely delicious!
The restaurant and hotel are under new management and I am excited to see what changes are going to be made. Staff were all very attentive and friendly, we will definitely be going again. Beautiful views!

Heard that this place was under new management so thought we would give it a try. Beautiful log burner on arrival, great welcome from the staff and service throughout. Fantastic views over the river. Eight of us ate for lunch, all eating different dishes from the menu and we all agreed that they were all delicious and very good value for money. Yes the place is a bit tired looking at the moment but we were assured that substantial changes will be happening and will make this place very special indeed. A hidden gem that is about to be polished!

Just spent an excellent weekend at the Llanwenarth Hotel. A weekend away to celebrate a significant birthday was highlighted by the quality of the food in the restaurant. Dined there on both evenings and the food was outstanding each time. Service was friendly and efficient too. Both the room and bed were comfortable and clean as was the en suite with shower and bath. In addition the peace and quiet led to a refreshing sleep on both nights. The balcony overlooking the river made a real feature of the outstanding views across the river and to the mountains beyond. The hotel is perfectly placed between Crickhowell and Abergavenny offering ideal accommodation for those wanting to explore the area. Now under new management plans are already in place to refurbish and upgrade the facilities. This will elevate the place to the front rank of accommodation available in this area of natural beauty.

Stayed three nights.food excellent in the restaurant, hotel was clean very comfortable, new beds, tea tray plentiful fresh bottled water every day.
Sky t v .large car park. We had breakfast each day and evening meal, the only disadvantage was you had to go out for a few yards from hotel to restraurant., And as they are two separate businesses food had to be paid for separately each time.

My family and i attended for a sunday lunch yesterday. We were a big party of 16 and we all enjoyed what we had.
Service was first class, the lady behind the bar noticing that one of our lil ones was pinching everyones fresh strawberries and got her a little dish of strawberries for herself.
We have vegetarians and fussy eaters in our group who were all accommodated.
Food was plenty and all served piping hot.
We will be returning again.
