Nice hotel in Riomaggiore
Olle Von 12/04/2017 22:37A small hotel with nice personell. Room No 4 was nice and tidy with a very nice balcony to the south. Not so much space but almost all what you need. The bed was somewhat hard, safe was not working, the door to the toilet could not be locked and the WiFi did not work properly. But in general very nice and much better than what I had expected from a 2-star hotel in Italy. The breakfast was much better than expected and good coffee made by a barista.
Beware - the rooms are not as appeared on website
Travelgal992014on 17/10/2016 03:06This was a 1 star room (if that). The ceiling tiles were falling and felt like a hostle. Was not worth the $500 price for 2 nights (for 2 people). The reception area was a big mess and the breakfast location felt like a closet where people could barely sit and get a coffee. Stairwell leading up 4 flights was dirty and had not been painted or cleaned in a long time.
Was very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone to stay here. This was the only place in 3 weeks that we felt was not worth the money.
Nice stay

The room was nice but with no lift and narrow stairs to the second floor it was definitely a challenge - but doable if you are strong and fit. The room had safe (if you gave a $10 deposit for the key), TV, fridge and kettle. The bathroom was small but very nice with decent shower. The main downside was that wifi could not be accessed in the room or the breakfast area. We always had to come and sit outside reception to access it. Otherwise great location for your CInque Terre adventure.
Nice stay in Riomaggiore
Mari Hon 12/06/2016 19:21The staff was amazing! They helped us with anything we asked for. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Absolutely recommend to stay here if you are going to Cinque Terre. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and loved every bit of our stay,
Ok place to sleep considering the area
Tuuli Pon 06/06/2016 18:28Friendly welcome in the reception. Steep and a bit stenchy stairway leading to our room. The room was acceptably clean and breakfast was fine. Just enough for our needs but a bit pricey in my opinion. If you come hiking from Manarola you don't have to climb all the way down to harbour - the Locanda is perfectly situated uphill and close to Coop and some eateries.
