What People are saying

Worse Backpackers ever!

noraellen717on 29/10/2017 02:43

Rooms need a paint, beds are horrible and squeak, they have parties till 1am in the morning right below the bedrooms so no chance of sleeping. Shared bathroom smelt really bad, the Saturday night we stayed over there was a fight so the bathroom was covered in blood which wasn't very nice for my 4 year old to see. Not family friendly at all! They whole place in general is dump and not well taken care of. I will never use or recommend them again! Not worth the money spent. I only booked there cause it was close to the airport as we needed to be there by 7am but won't make that mistake again!

HORRIFIC

I stayed here in July 2017, reception we're so unorganised it was a joke, the guy who is meant to be the manager 'Sam' didn't have a clue what was going on and there was some Indian lady who didn't even speak proper English and I couldn't understand a word she said!
It's like walking into your own funeral, it's pitch black in reception and vile! It smells of body odour and sick, this place should be shut down !!
NEVER EVER stay here!

Doesn't worth it

First of all. I started by arriving early in the morning. The check-in was obviously not possible. But if needed, you'll be able to let your luggages in a locked room for the day.

The check-in have been pretty quick & the girl was nice & helpful.

You'll get 2 cards as "keys". One for the common areas, the other for your room.

The room was ... allright at the first sight. But after few minutes. I found out that the windows were not closing properly (Annoying when you're room is just near the road). The curtains were falling down and not closing either. The light switch that i had above my bed was with the cable without cover. The matress was pretty bad too. you could feel the frame when moving a bit.

I stayed on the ground floor. You'll need to go at the 1st or 2nd floor to find a bathroom. I used the 1st floor one. Unisex bathroom. Only one working out of 2. Found an other bathroom in the crridor but it was also out of order...

The wifi is free for only 30 minutes or 300mb. After that you need to pay and get a voucher from the reception.

There is 2 big lounges where you can chill out. a big kitchen.

It was "ok" for one night before a plane in the morning. But will not stay for few days.
Paid 20$. Cheap. And i understood why.

Cheap for a Reason

The receptionist was lovely and friendly, but took her sweet time to check me and a few others in. I was waiting for a long time for her to get organized. The bathrooms were a long walk on my floor from my room. They were also unisex, and I walked in to find a naked guy with nothing but a towel on. Separate women's bathrooms would have been nice. The room was cold and not insulated very well at all. This place needs a serious makeover. The carpet was stained. It felt unclean. I've stayed in a lot of backpackers and hostels, and have found single rooms for less than what I paid at this place which were very clean and modern. For a while it was quite noisy. I think there was a bar or club next to it. So don't stay if you want a good nights sleep.

Honestly if you want somewhere cheap stay at another hostel that has some standards.

Stay at Your Own Risk

The hostel looked very different from the photos on the booking site. The key card we were given didn't work so we were moved to another room. The carpet in the room was dirty and had stains on it. There were holes in the ceiling and the closet door in our room. The shared bathroom was very dirty and we felt uncomfortable using it. The hostel was very noisy during the nights and for some reason the doors of the rooms make a loud noise when closed. I would not recommend staying here unless the only other option is sleeping outside on the street.
