This Motel from the outside did look average however the rooms were immaculately clean and shiny as they have been renovated. The Manager (James) could not do enough for us as he was accommodation and helpful with information and to get around. Laundry facilities were excellent. Beds were comfortable and no street noise.
Very nice!

The inside is much better than you would think! Rooms clean and nice, staff friendly, free parking. No complaints. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. In the Mission district of San Francisco.
Friendly Staff and Clean Room!

Stayed at Lombard Plaza for only one night, and we wish we had not booked 2 other nights at another motel down the street! We should have just stayed at Lombard Plaza! The room at Lombard Plaza was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Free parking was a plus, although there are limited spaces. We were lucky to be able to have a parking spot next to the stairs. The staff was extremely friendly, and they even held our excess luggage for a couple of days while we toured Wine Country. Would definitely stay here again.
Great Motel!

Don’t be fooled by the outside. It looks like most motels along Lombard Street. The rooms have been remodelled and are excellent. Large room and king size bed. Very comfortable! A large fridge and a standard microwave, a comfortable lounge chair is a plus. Excellent bathroom with fluffy towels. Checking in was a breeze and the room was serviced daily. All staff wee very polite and attentive. Close to the bay and Fisherman’s Wharf and bay tours. Thanks for a great stay! 🍺
Comfortable stay by the Bay

We've stayed at a number of places in San Francisco, the Lombard Plaza Motel beats them all on value for money, comfort, cleanliness and location. Situated in the heart of the Marina District, as well as feeling safe, you're minutes away from coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shops. The Wharf is an enjoyable 15-20 minute walk away, and all other tourist locations and districts are easily (and cheaply) accessible via bus or über if you don't fancy braving the hills. The guy on reception welcomed us and although the hotel seemed full for the 4 nights we were staying, we never had an issue getting a parking spot when we returned. The room was kept clean and toiletries stocked, we also appreciated the fridge and aircon as we visited during a heat wave. The bed was comfortable and we didn't experience any noise during our stay. We look forward to staying again next time we're in the Bay Area!
