The hotel is centrally located and has clean rooms. The buffet for all the meals has both Thai and continental food. However, It lacks plug points, and has a good buffet for all the meals.
The beach is just 2minutes away

Plus: Room very basic but clean and adequately equipped. Staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic location - 5 minutes walk to the beach.
Minus: Not enough electricity outlets; only one key for 2 people sharing the same room making it very inconvenient for us. Breakfast poor.

Walk to the beach or languish in either of the two pools, either way you come to appreciate the unique Thai holiday experience which has been, and still is, enjoyed by Thai's for generations. Cha-Am is NOT Pattaya (thank God) but has been a favorite holiday destination for Thai families for a long time. A little distance along the coast from Hua Hin (where Thai Royalty has spent their holidays since Rama 1V) Cha-Am is destined to become swallowed-up by its bigger neighbour so, if you want to experience a genuine Thai beach holiday that hasn't been turned into a set from Little Britain on speed, a stay at this excellent hotel is highly recommended.

We stayed with our 3y old son in the Deluxe room facing the smaller ppool. The room is old and outdated deco,r but clean and just for our needs. I would recommend to take the family room to ensure you have more space and separate sleeping arrangement (if needed). We really enjoied the pools, there are two, which both have sections less deep. The sun also is not direct on the pools early afternoon which is great. The breakfast was good, a lot of local dishes available on top of the usual eggs/bacon, cereal, bread, fruit and yogurt. Deluxe rooms has small bar fridge to store essentials. If you have kids you get a water kettle for free to your room. Safety locker only at the reception. The locations of the hotels is just few meters from the sea and there are several restaurants near by. No shopping really. So if you are looking for relaxing, 'do nothing'-type of vacation with swimming this us your place! We did a trip to Hua Hin (taxis are cheap), and also a day trip to monkey island (by Siam Sea-Cret Cruises), highly recommend . We also visited the Wednesday Cha-Am night market. The only downside was the cleaning of the rooms was not reaching the standard we expected. They cleaner well if they cleaner, BUT It was really about the skills of the cleaners, e.g.. if you left towels on the floor they actually put the back on to the rack from the floor! Also the forgot things, did not bring beach towels and the toilet was forgotten or dirty glasses left accidentally instead of bringing new. Despite the cleaning flaws, we would stay again.

I went to this hotel a year ago. It was good. The foods weren't good but not very bad and foods&drinks is very expensive. The room was great , I can see view of the city and it was very peaceful at night. The facilities are ok. And one thing that I don't like is , it took very long for the butler to get the dishes on the outside of the room.
