Vacation time is precious- there are plenty of other places!
We traveled to Bucerias via taxi early to get to the designated pick up hotel, we didn't want to miss them nor keep them waiting. When we got there there was no " Van" waiting. The man from the hotel ( not associated with Los Arroyos didn't even know if the place, and he had lived there his entire life, that should tell you something. We were going for the spa and the grounds looked cool, thought for the day " let's try something different ".
This email captures our transportation situation.
Our email to them while waiting 45 min past pick up time:
Hello/ we called the US number yesterday and spoke to a lady who did not take our name or deposit, We made reservations for couples Lomi Lomi massage and facial and waxing for myself. We were to be picked up at the Hotel DeCameron in Bucerius at 9:45. I was able to reach the number I called yesterday but there was no answer. I cannot get through on the non- US number. My husband is inside the hotel attempting to reach your facility as I type this it is now almost 10:30. Please respond if you get this message.

I never met Lupercia, only my husband did. She offered to pay for our lunch while I was finishing my facial, honestly the least she could have done is to be certain to meet both of us.
The massages were fine but certainly not true LomiLomi massages, during my facial while a treatment was being applied to my face I was to have a foot massage, the person was on her phone texting, did she not know I could tell with the intermittent start and stops, certainly not relaxing, actually quite upsetting it angered me. Up until that point everything was fine, the building looked like a rundown garage, I believe they were trying to have it feel that way however it truly was a rundown building. They had a salon chair from the 50,s or 60's and not a nice one either. I have to say the more mature therapist was professional and very caring, it was the other one that was not very good band made the experience less than stellar.
The Pool- what can I say it's a pool. No big deal seriously, my husband sat around it for quite awhile and though it looks clean he stated he did see moss floating in it. I don't know, I showered quickly and had a quick tea, walked the grounds a bit to see what the fuss was all about paid our bill and requested a ride back to town. I would have much rather spent the day in Bucerias, than running all the way out there for nothing. There are plenty of spas in town I'm certain we could have found something equal or better most likely. It actually felt a little like we went to someone's house and were hanging out in their backyard but we're uninvited, strange! Don't do the day pass, maybe if you're stay there it's different, but this was simply weird!

Wow what a place. 185 people attended a charity function there yesterday. The food was great,the staff were great, Lupe the owner was great, the facilities were great, etc, etc.
The day was a total success. I listened around me and all I heard were guests having a great day around the pool.
If you want a day away from the ocean in paradise this is the spot. The grounds are spectacular.
Go see for yourselves.

Grounds are beautiful, service was horrible, waiter very rood, drinks took for ever to come, food took hours, but it was good, the waiter was rude to all of us, he would of gotten a huge tip, instead no tip.

My friend and I came here for a day. It's a beautiful, peaceful, and lush oasis that is a perfect getaway from the crowded beaches nearby. The pool area is spectacular and the artistic touches give it that extra special something (they made beautiful ceiling hangers out of tires!). The employees were so warm and attentive. The food was also very good. For the price point (300 pesos for the day - which you can spend on food or massages), this is a steal.
Call in advance to see which days they are offering the day passes. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely consider staying multiple days.

We stayed here just one night with our 3.5 year old. A peaceful lush spot with an amazing pool, great food and warm service. Our child loved all the birds and cool art and other kids to play with. There was a nice mix of guests from all over and all ages - everyone was very friendly - no attitude here. The massage was one of the best I have ever had. Many people stay here for weeks but one night after a week in Punta Mita worked well for us. We are going back next year. Don't listen to google maps - it takes you on a restricted dirt road - just follow the paved road there.
