I stayed here with my family for during my visit to Goa and I can tell you , no other place can be better than this resort. The beach is so close to this resort ..
I am giving a 5 Star just for the location of this resort as its so peaceful and private and the Goan people are so nice, polite and helpful .. Goa it's my perfect place in India and definitely we will come back again...

If you are looking for luxury, this is not for you, please go further south to Taj Exotica or The Leela. If you are looking for comfort, good food, great location, adequate parking, good security in a gated community and great Customer Service, Lotus Beach Resort is the place to be.
Its less than 5 minutes’ walk to the beach. Benaulim is a quiet beach in South Goa and you can often have a large section of the beach to yourself. There are plenty of shacks offering good food at reasonable prices. Rogers & Ice Cube were the one we frequented. There is one coming up beside Ice Cube which is huge in size and should be worth checking out.
The Hotel has Ground and Single story Villas spread across a huge property. I suggest you request a room near the central area if you are looking for room service or have a family. There are other villas overlooking the pool but I think they are under a different Management.
The rooms are reasonably big, we were first shown a Hall, Bed & kitchen, but we opted for a one which had a bed and an open kitchen as we did not plan to do much cooking in the room. To each his own here. We called in for food often and were impressed with the fare they offer. The menu is not too vast, and in my opinion, it should not be, but the Chef would be open to serve you with dishes outside the menu.
The one thing that struck me with Lotus Beach Resort is that they just would not say no! The customer was treated like a king. This was true across every staff we met. The Management team of Mr. Shekhar and Mr. Vinod went out of the way to satisfy our every need and beyond. If there was one thing I would come back to Lotus Beach Resort, it would be for their Customer Service.
And for those of you who want luxury, there is good news. Lotus Beach Resort is planning to undertake renovation soon, this jewel will soon be the crown of South Goa!

Benaulim is picturesque beach in South Goa just south of Colva. It is about 27 km South of airport with picture postcard white sand beach shacks.resort has club pool restaurant Villa and excellent serenity.

Initially, the female reception was not being helpful with any information about the hotel before check-in. Free wifi in the hotel is only at the lobby which isn't a good feature (the hotel should mention the same as I was expecting wifi in the room). We had several power cut issues and also the geyser was not working even after complaining to the staff about the same. The hotel food as per the value of money isn't great. Great thing is the location, the hotel is very close to the beach. Also, many good restaurants are close by. Try out the crab soup at a shack named Johncy's.. the rest of the food is also delicious. Also, there is a resto-bar named Fireflies 5mins walking distance, where in they have karaoke nights and live music sessions.

Had a pleasant stay with two gal friends in September. Prompt room service. Could conveniently book taxis or hire bikes through the hotel. Safe environ, 5-minute walk to Benaulim beach. Supermarket close by. Food was great. Had a couple of issues with water and geyser, but the staff was prompt in handling those. Definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're on a budget.
