I stayed at Luna Baglioni with a view of the canal and it was sublime. This is a classic, legendary hotel with supreme service and a warm heart at its centre. Just what you need in Venezia to enrich the precious time even more. I will be going back in the New Year and will write about it again but I can’t think of a better place in which to base yourself, from the proximity to Piazza San Marco, the glorious walk along the adjacent Grand Canal, and the feeling of being in a home from home. Not to mention the lavish breakfast in a breathtaking room with ceilings painted by pupils of the great 16 th century Tiepolo. The bedrooms are streaming with Light, bathrooms spacious and relaxing. thank you to the Manager Gianmatteo Zampieri and of course the cultured, Maurizio D'Este for all your service in this serene oasis amidst the throb and glory of Venice

5 star hotel 5 star service we both loved the hotel and Venice .breakfast was included in our deal and it was better than expected more than enough to get the day off to a good start .Rooms were kept spotless at all times as was the hotel and for good measure a gondola station was outside the door Excellent

I stayed here for a week and give it 5 star plus. Am a frequent traveller and have never experienced such great service. Every wish anticipated! Great location and rooms. Only downside is some noise of people pulling luggage along the street outside.

We stayed in this hotel recently having arrived from Australia. The hotel is old, historical & beautifully kept in spite of the issues Venice has with the rising waters. It's position is second to none, & the staff were exceptional, very much more warm & approachable than the supposedly best hotel in Lake Como. We had a beautiful junior suite & the staff were just exceptional. In particular we'd like to thank Umberto, the very helpful concierge, Adriano & Marco in the restaurant & Anna the butler. It was a perfect 4 days spent in Venice. Charlie & Anna

My wife and I spent a lot of time planning our trip to Venice for a 30th wedding anniversary. Well before we arrived, I noticed that Gianmatteo Zampieri paid very close attention to the hotel. He seemed very conscientious about the service of his hotel.
When we arrived we were greeted by Gianmatteo. While is the hotel manager, he takes this job very seriously. He goes out of his way to make sure that his staff is taking care of the guests, giving advice, directing guests to good restaurants and making sure your room is in top shape. Gianmatteo explained that he had spent years in his hospitality career and I could tell that he knows how to run a great hotel.
The room was spotless and quiet. We were just off the canal and slept beautifully. The staff was carefully to mind our privacy but respond to any need. The restaurant was excellent--even preparing a box breakfast on our departure at 0500. At the hotel desk you can see that the staff was attentive to see if they could offer us any advice or help.
I can't say enough about how well the Luna Baglioni gave us a great visit to Venice. The location was awesome to walk anywhere in Venice but when we arrived back to the hotel we felt that we could relax like we were coming home. This is the best hotel in Venice.
