Better than expected!

Having read the reviews of this place we weren't expecting to get much sleep for our last night in India but it was much better than we thought.
It is on a very busy road so if your room is at the front I imagine it will be worse. There is also some kind of club upstairs and the music was loud enough to make our bed vibrate with the base!
The room was however large and clean and the bathroom reasonable although there was no hot water. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet and the music stopped much earlier than we expected. The staff were helpful and quick but tips very much expected.
We went out for dinner and left before breakfast so didn't eat here.
It's a very short if chaotic walk to the western gate of the taj - the only problem is crossing the road!
All in all an ok place for an overnight to see the taj.
Good location, not for those that like quiet though

We stayed here in April 2017 for one night & this was booked by our New Delhi travel agent. It’s located on a main street so if you are looking for quiet it’s not ideal depending on what room you get. We unfortunately got a room close to the street so if you are a light sleeper I’d avoid or ask for something else if possible. There is also a part/disco area the floor down from the roof top restaurant. I think we were there on a quiet night and only for one night so wasn't a major issue for us. We were greeted by a lovely lady (I assume the owner) and a nice gentleman. They were very welcoming. Their restaurant on the top level is excellent with good views over the city. Our waiter was a lovely man who was very attentive and the meal was delicious. My only suggestion here is to eat a little earlier (so you still have some daylight) as it needs a little more lighting up the top (I like to see what I am eating). Quite dark and the mosquito's were having a meal as well. But overall the friendly nature of the staff made up for any thing else :)
Good location but too noisy, tried to charge us extra while checkout.

The location of the hotel is very close to Tajmahal. Room was clean and the service was ok. Has a rooftop cafe, might be attractive for young people.
Be aware of the noise problem, in the daytime the noise of the street traffic & in the night time there is heavy loud music from the upstairs cafe.
Also be careful to make sure the total cost of the room before check in. They tried to charge me extra for an extra bed while check out, but I mentioned about the extra bed while check in coz we were a group of 3 people.
Very close to Taj Mahal! Okay Okay stay!

Hotel is at the busy street! but wanted close to Taj Mahal so preferred the same. Room provided was bit smaller and there was nothing to hang cloths. Although we reached after the check out time we were asked to wait for 20 - 30 mins.
Restaurant food is tasty but prices are on higher side. Roof top hotel is very nice but not good for family. Breakfast was having limited options but it was nice.Support staff is good.
Overall for one night stay it was good!
Central location, unfriendly and unengaged staff, noisy as hell

This place we got recommended thru a travel agency in Agra.
The plus side, walking distance to the Taj Mahal.
On the minus side:
Poor wi-fi
The staff was pretty impolite, no consideration for the best for the guest.
The room we got, the lock from the inside of the door was torn. The breakfast staff and the supply was miserable, disgusting and unpleasant.
This hotel is located very centrally, which meant noise late nights into the morning and among the higher floors there´s a party location that raged around the late hours.
On several occasions we had to contact reception for toilet paper, and it wasn’t´t able to flush.
On your own risk for those who makes a reservation at his place.
