This boutique hotel is charming and very special for couples or business meetings. I have been lucky enough to stay at MacArthur Place 6-8 times over the past years and it feels "special" every time! It is beautifully manicured and the gardens are peaceful. Each building of three or four rooms is set around the property, featuring patios and chairs for relaxing.
The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The are very large and feature fireplaces and spacious bathrooms with spa tubs. The decor for each is unique and bedding is luxurious. I always leave wishing I had more time to spend on property!

The rooms and the grounds are outstanding. The Service is top notch bar none. The location is great as well, you are close to the square where there are lots of great place to see.The food is alway great and the afternoon wine tasting is a great way to end the day.

My wife and I stayed at MacArthur Place for 3 nights at the beginning of May ... and wish we could have stayed longer!! The inn is extremely well run and beautifully maintained, and the facilities are great. Nancy and all the other front-desk personnel were courtesy personified and gave us very good recommendations regarding local wineries and places of interest .... and the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed. We would not hesitate to return here if ever we return to this area.

My wife and I stayed at MacArthur place for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. It's a really nice property that is walking distance to Sonoma Square. Convenient to all the Sonoma area wineries and about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Napa. The property is great, the pool and spa were excellent, and the service was very attentive. Liz (property manager) even contacted me a day after we checked out to let me know that I left a bathing suit in the room and was mailing it to me. All in all a great stay. You won't go wrong with MacArthur Place.

We loved this cosy resort! Beautiful place with amazing rooms and facilities. Great and friendly staff, personal attention from everybody and especially- from the front desk supervisor Bunky, who was extremely helpful. Recommending to everyone.
