Hotel is decent one. But Standard room does not have geyser. Otherwise hotel is very good and location is very good, close to Mall. Food quality is average. Hotel is good view of Darjeeling mountains.

The staff are lovely, we arrived very early & left our luggage & went off to the toy train, this was no problem, they put our luggage away somewhere safe.
The room was clean, good blankets on the bed, TV with English channels & good wifi. It was still cool in the room so the blankets were needed. In winter you would need a heater in the room.
Breakfast was lovely on the terrace & 2 of the best restaurants are next door.
Its in a great location in the heart of Darjeeling, very reasonably priced for Darjeeling, book in advance as it sells out.
My advice is don't go to Darjeeling at this time of year, it's very popular because it's cooler than the rest of India but the traffic is horrendous and there is zero visibility.

Stayed here after a six day trek and what a welcome sight this hotel was.
Nice big room, comfy bed with nice bedding, big breakfast and great additional services from laundry to airport transfers. Would recommend.

We stayed in Magnolia Residency from 18th may 2017 to 21st may with family.The path to the hotel from Chowrasta is only few mins and was bit dirty and muddy due to construction work going on near by.
But it will never matter once u reach the front desk.The manager is very friendly and polite,he will bring joy to your face.The support staffs are very helpful and friendly as well.
The ambiance of the property is very soothing and peaceful.very clean as well.
As we stayed in standard rooms there was no Geyser in side but the support staff will bring you hot water whenever required.The rooms were very clean and well furnished with all the basic amenities.
This hotel don't have their own restaurant but they provide very good breakfast from their in house kitchen with different items every day.
A cocker spaniel BELLA who stays in the hotel will welcome you in the evening..when you come tired from sightseeing.
We felt very sad when we checkout from the hotel as we had developed a attachment with it and its staff.
Overall a very nice Budget friendly hotel with very good service and very helpful and lovely staff..
The only draw back is that they don't have a restaurant ..otherwise One of the BEST Hotel In Darjeeling in prime Location...

This is our 2nd time at Magnolia Residency. The location is excellent if you want to visit Mall and market (just 5 mins walking). Rooms are maintained well and very much clean. From the room and also from the roof, the view is excellent. Complimentary breakfast is excellent. No matter what I asked for or needed help with, the staff was helpful, smiling and treated me as a family. Thank you Magnolia for a lovely stay!
