My family always enjoys stay at the hotel.They have a great rate and the breakfast is great having a ten dollar bonus at ho chunk casnina is also nice I like how the remodeled the rooms they seem more appealing

Was excited that they gave us casino dollars to use. Just needed to lay our head for a nap. Spent most of the time in the casino.
The breakfast was so so. They were busy, but had to wait for refills of coffee, food, napkins, plates just a little too long.

The front desk clerk was not nice she was very cold shouldered. She didn't tell us about the $10 each free play at the Casino we read about it on the elevator wall. The room smelled like stale beer and cigarettes and there was hair all over the bathroom. The free Wi-Fi did not work until the next morning when we were about to leave.

The room, staff and service were acceptable. However the location seems to be in a shady part of town maybe. There were people loitering around in the parking lot some of which looked a little shady. Road construction people loitering around in the breakfast area at night drinking beer. Other then that the stay was alright.

Stayed here for one night for business travel recently and was immediately turned off by the location and look of the hotel as we pulled up. Obviously an older hotel that was taken over by a small chain and attempted a renovation. Newer carpet, newer tile within room but whomever renovated did a horrible job with the paint (see pictures). The bathroom was nothing special with a cracked sink, leaking sink drain, tarnished mirror and another horrible paint job. The room had obviously been smoked in - a lot and stunk. The chair for the desk did not raise up and was stained and just plain nasty.
In regards to safety of this property, there are obviously issues. Signs up as you walk in about the doors being locked and to watch for strangers. Also similar language on the back of every key card envelope. The property is at the end of a casino parking lot so I’m sure they cannot help the kind of folks that may draw but I didn’t feel exactly safe. Definitely would not suggest walking anywhere, but then again there is nothing around this hotel to walk to!
I expected more for a hotel ranked higher like this on TripAdvisor and also for the overnight price of over $300!! Only saving grace for this property was the staff. Very sweet woman who was singing and humming as I checked in and a humble gentleman as I checked out.
