The only good thing was the price. The door was difficult to open. We had to body slam it open. We reported it to the front desk but it was not resolved. The WIFI was free but not secure, no password. The room next door left their TV on all night and it was loud. The towels were worn and needed to be replaced. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The shower rod had been installed incorrectly so the shower curtain would not stay shut during your shower which left the floor wet. The second night we lost power so there was no AC. This added to our already poor sleeping conditions. The good news is the TV next door went silent. They ran out of coffee during breakfast. The breakfast area was not kept clean while it was open. The food was not very good. We opted to eat out the second day.

excellent nice wonderful would come back and stay again and refer your hotel to my friends and family great service good food nice rooms everything was excellent and I really enjoy my stay clean rooms

This is definitely a budget hotel. Positives are the price, close proximity to downtown, friendly staff, clean lobby and free wifi. Room for improvement- the rooms are in serious need of upgrades. Thread bare carpet with rips, musty rooms, there was a film of mildew on the chairs from where the a/c condensation was trapped by the drapes, our hair dryer was missing the front guard and was a serious safety hazard for small children. There is free breakfast but it is very basic and the food is poor quality (stale croissants, scrambled eggs from a package). Bottom line is stay here if that's what you can afford, next time we will try somewhere else.

This was our second time staying here. We plan to stay here often over the next 4 years while our son is attending ECU. It's about a 20 minute drive to ECU but we like the small town feel of Washington and the waterfront dinning.

Bad smell in room was given air freshener from staff should have changed rooms I put up with it for the night. Glad to have refrigerator in my room. Felt safe, loved Walmart across the street. Minutes away from planned activity. City easy to get around
