Wow! This hotel was fantastic. The staff provided outstanding customer service from the moment we stepped through the door. Hot chocolate on arrival and each manager on an individual basis came and welcomed us to the hotel. Food was delicious and all our food requirements were catered for. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and can not wait to visit again. Thank you Claire and David.

We stayed at Maidens Hotel for 2 nights the hotel was beautiful, we were given a free upgrade to a suite. The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was very tasty.
Overall the hotel was a great first stop on our holiday!

This is a beautiful hotel with a very luxurious feel. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and well equipped. The grounds were beautiful to walk in with peacocks strolling around and little chipmunk/squirrels racing around everywhere. Truly magical. I highly recommend this hotel, it was a great start to our golden triangle trip.

We spent 2nights here.It was fantastic.Nothing was too much trouble.Very colonial and very beautiful Your welcomed by a gentleman dressed in a uniform and a big handlebar moustache.He saluted you as you go in.You sit down in the lobby and offered a drink.They take your pass port and do it all for you.wonderful service.xx

Alas we only spent a one-night stopover here prior to flying home in the morning. Arriving through the hotel gates is like stepping back in time. We were warmly welcomed and served a cup of delicious hot chocolate! Our room in the heritage wing was in fact a huge suite with two bedrooms and a sitting area. Its not often we've stayed in a such a large hotel room. Although the room was very traditionally furnished, it was equipped with all necessary modern facilities including large safe, efficient a/c satellite TV, complementary wifi and minibar. The only minor negative if there was one was the lack of a view - the main windows opened onto the corridor so had to be left with curtains closed for privacy.
We ate in the Curzon Room which though quiet on the evening we visited had a delicious menu and some interesting old photos to look at. Back at the room we discovered our pick-up time for the airport would be 07:00am - the same time as the breakfast room opened. A quick call to the room service people secured a 06:00 delivery of a delicious continental breakfast (even though this was not officially available until 07:00) - great service and much appreciated.
The general manager introduced himself as we were checking our and took a personal interest in making sure we had enjoyed our (brief) stay. I hope we will have a chance to return one day.
