We stay at Choice Hotels, but never a Main Stay. We booked this hotel in Casper, WY, and loved it. We had our own little apartment, and even stayed an extra day because of snowfall (a treat for these coastal Texans!). Charlotte and Alicia, and Pat at breakfast were so welcoming to us! Charlotte showed us two rooms from which to choose, and got us taken care of for a second night. She filled us in on much of the history of the area, and suggested drives we could take and places to visit, with instructions included. Alicia gave us advice regarding the snow and getting to places. The cookies were good, too! We enjoyed the hot tub, especially, since it was cold outside. Pat was very cordial at breakfast, visited with us, and made sure that everything was out for our breakfast. We felt like part of the family! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Casper (even the snow!), our room at the MainStay Suites, and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.

My boyfriend and I were just looking for a cheap place to spend the night in Casper on our way home from the Tetons. The room was cheap, VERY clean, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the kitchenette. It came with a full sized refrigerator, mini dish washer, stove top, and a microwave. The staff was friendly and the hotel served all of our needs just fine! Overall we were very happy with our choice in hotels that night. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced place to stay.

I booked a room on line and was given a accessible room, with two queen beds. When we arrived I was given a room ( room 123) with one double bed and a sleeper sofa. I was told that their was a soccer tournament in town and since I hadn't called and verified the room I had to take what I was given. I have been a Choice Privilege member since 1999 and have never had to call and verify an online booking.

LeAnn and her staff went out of their way to make our travel experience the best ever! Everything, from making reservations, to the extra touches on our arrival, ensured we felt welcome and valued. The spacious room with kitchenette was better than advertised, and they provided security services and amenities for the 2017 total eclipse event that other area lodgings did not. Everything was clean, modern, detailed, and most importantly, service-oriented. Thank you!

My family stayed in room 210A/210B. This room has 2 bedrooms with a livingroom/kitchenette in between. 2 bathrooms as well. Private balcony.
Pros:
Spacious room with ample space for the whole family to spread out! Comfortable beds. Private balcony was a great addition to the room! Full size refrigerator in the kitchenette. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff!
Cons:
Dirty bathroom washcloth on top of cabinet in kitchenette hanging over edge. Left behind bottle of lemonade from previous guest in refrigerator. Used tissues under and behind foldout sofa. Left behind pizza roll on balcony from previous guest. Lack of A.C. unit in bedroom caused it to be very warm.
Since the private balcony overlooks the hotels covered entrance maybe have a local artist paint something that reflects the history of the area so it isn't so plain.
