Fabulous pre flight stay, we had booked an executive suite just for that’s extra special stay and we’re not disappointed. The room was huge, comfortable, quiet and with all the usual amenities. We had the privilege of using the spa, sauna and steam room followed by a visit to the executive lounge where we were greeted and offered a variety of drinks, snacks and tasty food. We had planned to eat I. The cast iron grill but this sufficed and we retired feeling full and watered. We will most definitely use this hotel again before early morning flight. We also had time to grab breakfast 🥞, excellent choices available and just what we needed before an 8 hour flight, well done Marriott staff, it was a pleasure.

First the positives; the hotel itself has recently undergone a makeover. I’d been offered an upgrade to a refurbished room at a nominal charge prior to checking in which I took advantage of. Staff at check in and check out were friendly, and the room itself was very comfortable, spacious and clean. There are USB charging points on the bedside lamps and also at the desk, which is a helpful touch. Plenty of fluffy towels, a bathrobe and slippers were provided.
I can’t rate the hotel more than average for 2 main reasons. Firstly, the day before I stayed I noticed some charges on my card; I’d checked in online so expected the usual pre-authorisation but there was another charge I didn’t recognise. At check-in it became clear that I had been charged twice for my upgrade. The receptionist struggled to refund the additional cost to my account and had to engage one of her colleagues which delayed the process quite considerably (it would have been nice if she could have just assured me it would be resolved and let us go to the room as we’d arrived quite late at night). She then forgot to tell us where the room was.
The hotel has a very unusual layout and the room numbering is frankly Kafkaesque. As reviewers have noted you end up walking past myriad other guests who are trying to find their room. An array of signs direct you to dead ends, point in different directions or just stop altogether. We did eventually find the room but struggled to get back to reception (there’s only one lift and it’s at one end of the huge building). I’d planned to take advantage of the express checkout but noticed that they had added the duplicate upgrade charge back onto the bill so had to check out manually. We highlighted the issue to the receptionist at checkout who advised they knew about it so for me it’s about time they got someone in to update the signage. These issues spoilt what could have been an excellent stay.

Came for one night.Check was a simple swift affair.A couple of minutes.Given directions to our king bedroom.spacious comfy large bed.medium sized clean room.EMPTY mini bar , can live with that.Best part was the leisure spa.Large pool jacuzzi sauna steam room and ice cold plunge pool.
Overall no complaints , staff were good for breakfast.Breakfast itself was easy.Plenty of choices , good for vegetarians.
Would stay again.

Nice hotel, rooms large and comfortable. Great Would definitely come back. Only issue is the car parking situation which is charged by a third party. On check in this is not made clear by the check in staff, who encourage you to pay the hotel, rather than the third party company, which is cheaper. Not very helpful

Tiny 4ft 6 double beds
Dated, not particularly clean and very worn room
Noisy as hell- booked to get "good night sleep " before flight which was impossible with hen parties and works groups spilling out into corridor until 5am.
£10 for a poor glass of Merlot!
Almost 100£ for a meal that tasted like a chain restaurant microwave meal.
Taxi needed to get to the airport was £10. How can an airport hotel get away with not providing a free shuttle service?
Aircon on full blast. I was told they had no way of changing it!
I would never recommend this hotel unless you wanted a cheap party for a crappy company...but tbh if my employer took me here I wouldn't be impressed.
