Bad Experience!!!

Was travelling via Gangtok to go North Sikkim in April so stayed at Mandala hotel however hotel staff is pathetic and food served is not as expected in Gangtok. Please do something about the room hygiene as the carpet was dusty and the room was stinking. When complained the house keeping guy had a bad attitude and rude. Will not visit this hotel ever again..

We booked a room for 3 days. We were given room in the top floor, though the view was good but it was really difficult to climb five floor every time we went out, so we requested for a lower floor room. This room was so small in size, the bed occupied max space, there was no room to move around. The room was shabby, the lavatory was Indian and not that clean. The hotel is just on the main road, its really difficult to walk on the road due to busy traffic. The hotel manager is not around for long, you cannot talk to him as required and he is very inefficient. they do not have any tours option, they get it done through other agents and hence it will cost you really much if you go through the hostel. its better to contact the tours directly.The restaurant is also not worth a try, it is better to opt for dominos that is just across the road. It is really overpriced and not at all recommended.

Worst Hotel! A Terrible Experience, Worst Staff and Bad Services

We booked the hotel for two nights and had a horrible experiences there. First of all, the hotel is situated at such a place where it is difficult to cross the road as there are too many vehicles passing by the hotel. We had never seen such a pathetic hotel before.
First of all,
1. Bed Sheets are unclean and the blankets were unclean and torn. So, we asked them to change those things but they had replaced them with another torn blanket.
2. There were mouse roaming in the room. We told them about it but they replied that they won't take any action and eventually, they did not bother to provide good services to us.
3. Their behaviour is too rough and even the owner behaved badly with us.
4. Poor TV quality and there were no night lamps in the room.

Overall, a horrible experience and I will never go there again.

Pathetic Hotel, Worst Staff

One of the Worst Pathetic Hotel i have ever seen in life. We went for a family trip on 11th May & had to Stay at the hotel for 1 night. After a hectic trip from lachung to gangtok just for a night stay. The Bedsheets had very bad smell with dirty looks for which we asked to change the bedsheets. The result was so horrible that the Manager & staff said they have such kinds of bedsheets only, After repeated request they came with a new bed sheet but said if a single stigma is found then they will charge extra for this , that to in such an arrogance as if we had some wrong thing. Then they said we should better stay in 3 star hotel & many other bad things. Most of the staff are very arrogant & don't know the manners to how to behave with guest. Even the Manager is in the same line & speak very badly . I would never recommend this Hotel to any body ever in future. As a cost of such ill behavior immediately we had decided to change to a different hotel at extra cost. Very sick people & a pathetic hotel.

Nice hotel, conveniently located, nice view but very slow service.

I found the hotel very nice, especially Room No. 302, very nice view of the mountain, decent facilities, poor tv quality, very slow service but very spacious room, sometimes geyser problem, etc. I think the rate is very high but can be cheap if booked from Andhra Bank CoOperative Society. One problem is that cars do not stop near the hotel. If one can go upstairs one can easily go to MG Marg.
