We booked a spontaneous 3night/4day trip to Broome to Escape the cold of the South West. Having eaten at the Mangrove Hotel previously and enticed by the reasonable price for what looked like a high end hotel we booked and were off!
The weather was perfect! The hotel was ok. Service was very good from the moment we got there.
What looked like an absolute high end King Suite online was slightly dated upon arrival, much like the hotel itself. Only slightly though. Cold air con offset the outside heat perfectly, a pod type coffee machine was a nice touch (but these are an everyday item now really), the complimentary soaps, shampoos etc were quite nice and there was plenty of towels supplied for the three of us.
The hotel amenities were varied. Gym was great, near new I’d say. Laundry seemed quite new also but personally I believe when you pay to stay at a hotel, you should not have to pay for laundry. The pools were fine and well landscaped but the lawns throughout the grounds need renovation. The bar/bistro area had plenty of seating and shade but again the shine has worn off.
All in all we loved our stay! Would we stay again? Yes. But only if the rate was reduced and we’ll stay somewhere else next time regardless of the above.

Booked two rooms for family weekend event and then a struggle to find parking.
Restaurant and bar were packed on Saturday night and there seemed to be back-to-back weddings so we decided to eat somewhere else both nights. Room not serviced on Sunday and staff claimed "Do Not Disturb" sign on door which was untrue. View across Roebuck Bay is spectacular but this did not make up for what was a very disappointing stay. Not recommended.

Visiting Broome and family - we have been to The Mangrove Hotel several times. The position of the hotel is great and some of the best views you will ever get.
We had a large group of family and friends and enjoyed some delicious dishes to share. One of their pizzas with Jamaican jerk chicken, Caribbean sauce, mushroom and charred corn - this was a favourite.
The Southern fried Popcorn chicken was also delicious with a dipping sauce on the side.
Together with a few champagnes, wines and beers – it was a great night out.

How good is this place.Sitting out back in massive range of tables and comfy couches
overlooking the ocean and the mangroves.Magnificent food and reasonably priced drinks for such a location. With friendly staff to boot.1st class all the way.
I have found my regular Broome accommodation.

Been here a few times now and it never fails to impress.
Large bright rooms and comfortable beds and furniture.
Food quality TV and stereo sets in most rooms. This time I had a kitchenette facility, although I didn’t use it I can see it would be ha day for extended stays.
Wifi though was patchy at best and obtaining a connection was almost impossible.
