Our favourite getaway when we are time poor or cash poor, Manoribel scores mostly because it's unpretentious. It is what it is, take it or leave it, seems to be their motto. Not to imply they don't care, which is what this review is about.
First time in many years, we chose to escape the noise, smoke and bustle that comes with Diwali in Mumbai. As it happens, our first born Aditi has her Hindu calendar birthday fall today, धनतेरस.
Soon as Bhavana, the lady who pretty much runs this place found out, celebrations, Manoribel style, were inevitable.
See the bouquet (flowers from the property) and the coconut cake (truly signature dessert) materialized. As did the father's favourite bottled brand of cheer, despite not being on the menu.
What more can you ask for? Happy Diwali!

Manoribel is a small resort located in manori (very close proximity from malad). At first you don't expect much from this resort , but the moment you are inside . it will definitely surprise you.
Very large and clean rooms facing the sea with open verandas.
The staff is very courteous and helpful.
The food is delicious.
A very clam place to come and unwind yourself.

Perfect place for get together.
Rooms are ok - not great
But if you get good deal it is not a bad option.
You have options to play indoor games. Food is good and options are plenty.
Hope they improve on the entrance road but not a big deal in terms of visiting the place

Believe me just sit in the slingbed and enjoy the serenity of this place.
Unbelievable that it is soo close to Mumbai.
You can hear always the sound of the surf and the breeze rustling through the trees.
We found the food little expensive compared to its quality and the service was nice.
All in all, if you are looking for a beach resort not too far from Mumbai which is pretty, assuring you of a relaxing laid back weekend, Manoribel is the place for you ... this one is great if u can afford.

Manoribel is an awesome place for much needed break from the bustling life of Mumbai City. Though almost within city limits, but still far away from it, it provides very good ambiance, calm and serene atmosphere to spend quality time with your family and friends.
Staff is courteous, prompt, helpful, smiling and always willing to extend their full support for your comfortable stay.
I have only one comment or suggestion to Hotel's Team, that your food menu is highly overpriced and it has limited options for Vegetarians. However, during our stay, property's care taker assured us that we can order whatever we want and the cook will make it. :)
One of our friend suggested this place and even I am gonna suggest this place to everybody.
Will surely look forward for another visit.
