Michael Bon 11/11/2017 10:41Bit of a walk to the beach and restaurants but excellent place to stay. Good for family's its set in a quiet place far side of the salt flats. The pool and bar area are well kept and clean rooms are also well maintained. would defo recommend this place...👍
Peaceful and friendly...
Islandhopper54on 20/10/2017 17:52Property is located in the shadow of Mount Vrachionas, around a mile from the centre of Alykes...so is quite peaceful (depending on other guests). Excellent staff, all very efficient and helpful. Nice bar, drinks fairly priced, decent choice of food...handy if you don't feel like walking into town. Lovely pool area, spotless, (well done Patricia). You are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome, would definitely return.

If your looking for a peaceful place to stay where you are well looked after and get great service then i can recommend this place.
Yes the beds are typical of Greek hotels, hard, and yes its a 20 minute walk to town, but im sure you wont find a better place to stay in the area

misschloe2017on 11/10/2017 17:26another lovely stay at Maria apartments. only downside was the presence of maria. she sat on a stool at the bar ignoring everyone. one time we stood at the bar waiting to be served for nearly 10 minutes until someone else came back to serve. on another occasion she said hello to a man stood next to me at the bar, so I smiled and said hello and she completely blanked me. good thing her rudeness hasn't been passed on to her sons and the rest of the staff.

ClareW84on 09/10/2017 11:50We had a lovely break at the Maria Apartments, Billy, Theo and Nick made us very welcome. The lock on the door to our first apartment kept getting stuck but they moved us easily when we mentioned it. We ended up with a better view too! The apartments have a lovely pool and great food and cocktails.The town and beach are about a 10/15min walk away but easily accessible. We were there towards the end of the season so some of the restaurants started to close while we were there but still lots of choice.
