Family of three stayed for 7 nights on half board. Room was OK with very comfy beds and plenty of space, clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Menus were in Italian and despite being foreign and having many foreign travelers eating there at the same time, we needed the one waiter who could speak English to translate every time, we felt that more waiting staff should speak English. Food was traditional and very fresh, breakfast buffet was well equipped. Free parking by the hotel always available. Hotel is located very close to city center and with easy access to main roads and any facilities you need. There is an interior garden very pleasant and quiet for summer evenings dinners. Free wi-fi in all areas. All in all a pleasant stay but did not wow us. Mosquitoes were very annoying - you need to take measures yourself.

Had a seven night stay here the location of hotel is excellent only a ten minute walk to the centre. The room was very clean and bed comfortable. My only disappointment was the breakfast nothing hot unless you want toast, fruit on the first day was rotten as I put my hand over the fruit bowl all the flies come up, so I left that had a yoghurt which is made locally very nice. Most days was a hard boiled egg and fresh bread. Local bread very good. Coffee was nice but all depends who's making it. If you got a sweet tooth you will like it loads of cakes and patisseries. But there is ample places close by if you want a decent breakfast. There's free wifi which was very handy to keep in touch with the world. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall I would stay here again.

We spent two night at this hotel. The hotel definitely has a traditional feel but the old world service is missing. There were two problems that we had that made the stay uncomfortable. The first was the air conditioning to our room was not working. The weather wasn't real hot but there was no air circulation so the room became hot and stuffy. We tried opening the windows and got rewarded with Mosquitos. We requested a fan for the second night and that helped make the room more comfortable. The second problem was the wifi would not connect in our room. That problem never was solved. Otherwise the hotels location is very good for visiting the old city. We used the hotel parking which was handy. The breakfast if standard European fare. The staff spoke passable English. We would not stay here again.

This modern hotel is probably utilised most by business customers, but we found it extremely comfortable, easy to park near by some white (free) spaces and plenty of vacant blue spaces (pay at meter during certain hours) at mariano piazza - (although the hotel did offer to park our hire car in their basement). Five minutes walk and we were on the central town piazza. large comfortable king bed. large bathroom and excellent shower. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, proper fresh crusty bread, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, plus the usual cereals and packet stuff. Gluten free options too, I noticed. There is a garden out the back with seating.

My wife and I stayed at the Mariano IV Hotel for three nights in May. Our room had a balcony on the street that was fascinating. Street noise was not a problem. We sat on the balcony and watched Sardinian life pass by. The breakfast was fine, the room was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.
