I spent amazing 12 days at Mariant Hotel Mallorca. I have to say that I realy had a great time there. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Room was clean every day, food was tasty and the bar staff were so so great!!! I realy can not say any bad word about the hotel. Beach was just few minutes walk from the hotel, just you must pay for sunbed and umbrella around 4.50 euro for day. There were planty of shops, restaurants and bars around. So you can not get bored there!!!
Unexpectedly nice

We stayed here having booked for Aparthotel Mirgay which is right on the seafront. That hotel was full and although we had our travel agent confirmation, there was no room available. But staff at Mirgay arranged for us to stay 1 night in their sister hotel the Mariant and then return. However, we liked the Mariant so stayed for the rest of the time too.
Staff in both hotels were very helpful.
The Mariant is well located and looks to have been refurbished recently. Rooms are good with a nice balcony.
Food is plentiful and varied and the hotel caters for all tastes and nationalities. Being able to eat outdoors is a real bonus.
It's a short stroll to the sandy beach or along the promenade in the evening. Parking can be tricky if you hire a car
Overall, and despite a rocky start, we had a great holiday.
Is it in Spain?

Any country you go you should take the local habits and learn from them about another culture.
This hotel is absolutely average for its category and not spanish at all. Most of people only speak german and maybe if you are german and willing to keep your habits, like early dinner for example, you may find it excellent. Do not misunderstand me, I have nothing against Germany at all, I lived and worked great in Germany!
When i go to Spain I would like to find their fantastic food and their fantastic culture as well. This hotel adapted so much to mass tourism from Germany to forget it all!
Amazing 3* Hotel (read the review for more info)

This was our second stay in this hotel and we were absolutely satisfied. There are mostly advantages but a few disadvantages as well. We had all inclusive and stayed from the 1st July to 12 July.
+ADVANTAGES:
-Location: 2-3 minutes to the beach
-Cleanliness: early in the morning I always saw the staff cleaning the whole hotel
-Room Service: the rooms were nicely cleaned, fresh towels
-Bar Service: nice drinks, the most delicious Sangria we ever had, a nice young bartender who was always smiling (our daughters favorite reason to go to the bar)
-Pool: nice,clean pool
-Food: very delicious, alot to choose from, breakfast (eggs, sausages, bacon, salami, cheese, , butter, honey, fresh fruit, dry fruit, coffee, tea, juices,.....),lunch (fishes, chicken, pork, beef, few kinds of fresh salads, pasta, fruit, puddings, cakes,....) and dinner (similar like for lunch)
-Reception Staff: very kind and helpful, always smiling
-DISADVANTAGES:
-Entertainment: there could have been more entertainment
-Paper thin walls: you could hear pretty much everything
-Czech tourists: 80% of the hotel was Czech tourists and they started to get annoying. Their behavior during eating time was insane. Have you ever seen a person put chicken, fish, rice, fries, cakes and pudding on one plate?? Gross!!
- WiFi: you had WiFi in the reception area only for one hour. Afterwards you had to go back and ask for a new password (Poor reception staff, I think it must have been annoying for them because for me,it would be). You could also pay for WiFi acces in your hotel room which, come on, we are in the 21st century,do we still have to pay for it???? :(
OVERALL:
I do recommend this hotel. I think its great for families, but couples too. We did find a few disadvantages but looking at the pros of this hotel, its worth it. I would also recommend,if you like nightlife, shops, bars and restaurants, definitely visit Cala Millor. You can take the city bus there (takes only about 5-7 minutes) or you can walk there (35-40 minutes). Cala Millor is a much lively resort.
P.S: Czech tourists, please CALM DOWN!! There is ENOUGH food for EVERYONE :D :D
