This is a big and beautiful hotel near beaches but it is a bit outdated. The rooms are big and sufficient but the lobby and dining area could use a facelift.
We visited in May when the season has just started. It would be good for family but I recommend it smaller hotel if you are a couple or traveling on your own.

We checked into this hotel the day before the Ferragosto festival so we knew it was going to be busy. But it was just mayhem with kids screaming everywhere, so not really peaceful.
Found it strange that we had to wear a red band on our arms for the whole time we were staying there so we could gain access to the facilities.
The rooms were clean, and typical European standards. Good location to the beach, but not to the town itself. But they do have a shuttle service that runs quite frequently and only cost 1 Euro per person.
Breakfast was quite average, but we always chose to go and get our own crossaint and espresso somewhere else.
Overall a nice village feel hotel perfectly situated for the beach!

We were firstly wrongly directed to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, but there was no porterage, no assistance with baggage up the steps to the reception. Our room was small, poorly furnished, with a tiny window opening on to our balcony. Towels were inadequate, small and thin - one was torn. Request for extra towels was fulfilled after two requests to concierge. We had to step over the bidet to get into the shower!! Air con. was inadequate. No toothmugs or glasses supplied. We were told that if we wanted dinner in the hotel, we would need to book as there were few people staying and the chef would not be available otherwise. Understandable!! Wisely we went to Pane e Vino, an Osteria, which was very good. Warm service, wonderful farmhouse food. Breakfast in the hotel - a really depressing event. Spoons and saucers were dirty, plastic tumblers for the orange juice - I grabbed a wine glass - coffee revolting. The waiter was obviously bored and disinterested. This hotel certainly has potential, but needs better management, new furnishings, windows that let more light in!!!! an awareness of guests' needs when they are on holiday.

Hello. We stayed in Maritalia for one week = 23. June - 30.June. We are in love with this place. Animations were very interesting and funny. Children loved dancing in the evening. I liked animations on the beach. Animators were funny, pretty, but only 3 (i think) animators know by english. Sea was clean and hot. We didn´t like swimming hat in the pool. They cooked very good! Their fish, meat and pasta pomodoro were the best what i ever eat. And the funniest thing was, that all animators barking, haha! Every kid love animators. We didn´t have a time for try a spa. Our room was clean and beautiful. Atmosphere when Italia played fotball, was the best. Everybody were dancing in amphitheatre and happy. We want go there next summer on two weeks, because we love this place too much and one week is short time.
