What People are saying

Excellent hospitality, great location for exploring Norther Ireland

VIM689on 25/09/2017 10:23

We spent 2 nights in the Chintz Room. The room is large and comfortable with a nice shower. Some road noise, but it gets quieter at night. Seating area for relaxing in the room.

We had a dinner served by our host Robert on one night. It was a 5 course dinner and well worth the price. Delicious!

Breakfasts were equally delicious. You have several hot and cold choices each day.

Robert was very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice spot near Ballymena. You do need a car though because it is not close to town.

Excellent service!

My wife, mother-in-law and I had the chance to experience this fantastic property while we were in Ballymena for a wedding. We had two rooms between us, both of them are large rooms, very comfortable, with enough furniture to allow for the three of us to sit in either of the rooms at any time. Breakfast was great, service was second to none. Very convenient for us to hop in a taxi to get in and out of Ballymena too. It was so good that we have booked our next stay in May, another wedding in the town for us to attend, and we don't have to worry about our accommodation now!

Ballymena visit

We had 3 nights at Marlagh Lodge. Very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Lovely, large room with suite as well as bed. Good shower in the ensure. Traffic noise at front of house but not too much of an issue.

Easy journey from airport and good links to coast and Belfast. Visited lovely restaurants in Ballymena and Kells.

Lovely B&B

We stayed at this lovely B&B for a friend's wedding in the area.
The rooms are nice and ours could sleep 3. Bathroom is across the hall and spacious.
Breakfasts are amazing and a wide selection of freshly cooked choices.

Fantastic

Recently stayed here during a sight seeing trip around Northern Ireland, it's only 35 minutes from Belfast City Airport, and about 40 minutes from the northern coast line. The blue room is lovely and comfortable, the breakfast was great. Robert is a fantastic host, very friendly and very helpful with advice as to the roads/routes to take and places to visit. Seeing the chickens in the garden on arrival was a surprise and little toots - one of the cats was definitely in charge of the chickens, quite a little character she is. It's a handy location to go north, south east or west. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
