I've stayed here several times over the past few years and each time the staff was friendly and the rooms nice and clean. The hotel is going through renovation so expect early morning sounds of workers as they start early. Breakfast isn't great as eggs were somehow not cooked well two days in a row. Fortunately there is a Wawa across the street.

Arrived today. Had chance to talk to Henry the Asst GM. He told me about all the renovations being made. This place is wonderful now. It will be a palace when it is completed
I did the mobile check in. I walked up to the desk and the clerk met me with a smile and immediately gave me the keys
I spent a bit of time in the lounge with Tammy, Monique, Haley, Sean and Shea. They all made sure I was taken care of an had what I needed
This property is excellent for the business traveler, banquets and Conferences. The rooms are clean even before the scheduled upgrade. When planning a trip this is your best choice in the Tidewater area

My husband had work in the area and I took off of work to join him. Well worth it! The hotel is clean and friendly with plenty to keep me busy while he had to work. Join the Marriott rewards program as it gives extra incentives. We had free breakfast and coupons the snack area.

For the last few years, I have stayed at this property - it was a full service Marriott at the time. The property has changed to DELTA, still in the Marriott family but most of the amenities are the same. I asked several staff members when the concierge lounge would be done, and was given a different answer each time. The lounge and other parts of the hotel are under renovations and I cannot wait to see the property on my next visit!!

We hosted our company bi-annual conference at this hotel and we were more than pleased with the accommodations. The food, staff and conference room were very nice and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel for all your business and conference needs.
