A Marriott Vacation Club, rooms are showing some age and not the best furniture. However, bed was a comfortable king size. The La Vista and Atardi (Simply Fish) were good restaurants, with above average and friendly staff.

Beautiful room, well kept grounds, very helpful staff and in the middle of all the fun places. We were a rental of only 2 days in this timeshare hotel. We were very surprised how nice it was. Pool area was peaceful and fun. Rooms were well stocked with full appliances, utensils, and coffee and filters.

Great. Trip, wonderful hotel and excellent food. Aruba is a great place for a family cacation. They have great restraints, all types of food at all price ranges. Very easy to get around the island and US customs is done in Aruba not back in the USA.

From cab drivers to resort employees for the past 18 years we have found Aruba to really be the "happy island" the ads say. This visit we especially found the Manager of The Aruba Ocean Club and a security guard Samuel to be especially warm, welcoming and helpful. The general cheerful feeling seems to be enveloped by all--smiles and helpful actions. My husband is in a wheelchair and so, so many people volunteered to help. It was truly a vacation.
P.S. We dropped a bag--with money and cards--somewhere in the resort. It was brought to the desk almost immediately--all intact!

(accidentally posted in the main Marriott hotel but reposting here) Love the big hotel because all the amenities. Multiple restaurants, ice cream shop, new gym, many pools. There is even an adult pool which is nice and quiet. Nice rooms. The grounds are well maintained. Check in was simple and not a long wait. Only problem is too many umbrellas in the beach. You can't easily walk to the water. It's the downside of the large hotel with so many guests. It seemed to be low season because the water was relatively empty. I don't mind having to pay for umbrellas. Reading other wrie ups, it seems you can get umbrellas for free at certain times. You have to pay for water activities except to swim is free. We ate at eatery and our waitress Jennifer was great.
