I have just returned from a Bridge Holiday at this hotel. Having just recovered from a hip operation I was most impressed with the attentiveness of the reception staff who arranged for my room to be changed so that I did not have to negotiate a lot of stairs. I find the hotel accommodation most satisfactory and the main reception areas and function rooms are maintained to a very high standard. The food also is very good with plenty of choices . I can certainly recommend the chef's porridge and the smoked haddock with poached egg for breakfast! The staff are very helpful and combined with the exceptional location in Bournemouth, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We went to the Marsham Court for a long weekend relaxing get away.The car park was full, but as a disabled driver I was offered a reserved space near the door. Reception is bright and welcoming, and the staff were nothing short of excellent. Our room (a 3 bed family room) was on the 2nd floor but the lifts made access simple for me, the room was spotless and well appointed, with a good temperature, but easily opened windows, ensuring that we were able to be comfortable right from the start. The room offered the usual facilities, tea/coffee, TV and hair drier with a very comfortable superking bed, and a single by the window. The bathroom was modern with economy flush, a sensible basin and a first class walk in shower. The view was stunning, although it was not offered as a "Sea View" room we could see the sea and the coast to the east of the hotel. We chose not to eat in the hotel, next time I will! They did warn us of a large celebration booked for the Saturday night, and the disco was a little loud until 1am, but as mentioned we were warned in advance! The area is pleasant and crossing the road we were able to access the cliff top path which leads down to the pier. Check out was painless and the staff were most helpful as we left. A slight downside for me was that the front entrance has steps, but had we parked in the hotel car park at the rear we would have had a step free entrance.We are just sorting out our next trip there possibly in the early New year! Bournemouth is a pleasant seaside town, with great beaches, a vast array of shops and restaurants and easy access to the New Forest.

This was our first visit to Marsham Court Hotel but I'm sure it won't be our last. We were very impressed with the customer service by everybody who we came into contact with, everybody was friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There were a few events on during our stay but this didnt interfere with us at all. We stayed for 3 nights, had the set dinner menu each night, the choice was very varied and delightful. Many thanks for a great stay.

We stayed a couple of nights in a lovely large room with a good sea view - it helped the weather good. The staff were friendly, most particularly at breakfast. The hotel has a good location and, a bonus in Bournemouth, free and plentiful car parking. A few small observations. Its a bit daft providing a kettle that is too big to fill in the sink. Also, the shower head was clogged which detracted from a very good shower. But overall, a good hotel, we would stay again.

Lovely Bournemouth hotel, really tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Outside pool could do with being heated a bit warmer as it’s a bit of a shock when you get in but a nice facility to have.
Good location, walkable to Bournemouth and short walk to the beach
