Marughar venture resort is a amazing place to stay in Jodhpur city very refreshing n energetic place. This place situated outskirts of Jodhpur but really has the essence of Rajasthan n Jodhpur city. Ambiance of the resort mixed with red stone hills, greenery, well decorated garden n pool, open aired diner, the restaurant, spa therapy , cottage stay, the architecture overall 10 out of 10. Visit this place at least once if you are in jodhpur

We are the group of families, friends, relatives visited this lavish, comfortable, beautiful, lush green resort for two days in Nov. 2017. Each and every part of hotel is very creatively decorated... entrance, dinning area, reception lobby, fall ceiling having rajasthani paint work is simply superb... I personally feel this is the best resort in Jodhpur... smooth check-in... awesome food... big rooms creatively designed & comfortable... beautiful lush green garden... big swimming pool.... fort converted into luxurious resort... 5 out of 5 star for this...
Very special thanks to a great human being Mr. Jitendra Singh hotel Manager for his hospitality & warm welcome... A very gesture that after two days he called me and ask wish me safe journey...
Definitely, I highly recommend this resort to each & everyone.... If you are in Jodhpur do not miss opportunity to stay here....

This resort is bit out of the city but not so far, it's almost 4km away from chopasni housing board and is quite large.
It's surrounded by rocks & hills which gives it a complete look of Rajasthan heritage property.
The resort have really huge garden in which you can play games. There are trees in middle & around the garden so you can sit under them when sun is on head & play some games. Its having 2 swimming pool 1 for children and the other one for adults with Max. Height of 6ft and you can beat the heat while enjoying in pool.
When u feel hungry have lunch/ dinner at restaurant. The preparation of food was quite balanced not too spicy not too sweet which is decent for all type of people. The prices are average here not cheap but still not too high considering the property.
The food is not too good but it's good enough if u r planning for a outing with family & friends.
Overall a good place for gathering & enjoying with loved ones.
The place is picturesque so u can take pictures at different locations.
The only thing that I don't liked about this place is the staff is bit arrogant and their behaviour is somewhat like they don't care much. So be little careful about it. Enquire everything in advance.

Resort has 100 of places to click and enjoy.. food is good. Quite resonable compared to location .
However, Resort is some what out side Jodhpur. Staff is not upto the mark..
Room was good. Had enough space and was comfortabel. But noises from AC was annoying.

The only thing nice in this hotel is the photos that you see on internet. The view is nice. Everything else is POOR in this hotel. NO smiling welcome (makes you feel that they are not happy to see you). Service is poor. Assurance by management about pest control in April 2017 (in earlier reviews' response) is a lie...We found two lizards in our room and two people had to come get them out. Another 4 lizards got removed by staff from our balcony. Couldn't sit out and enjoy the view from balcony either. Swimming Pool is under renovation (in July???what a time to pick) and they don't tell you when you book it. Rooms are old style...no WiFi even in our Deluxe rooms on such big resort? Again they don't mention that as well on their website. By the way, Hot water is on call basis only in the morning...they don't tell you when you check-in. They will start the boiler only when you find out in bathroom that water is cold and call the reception (if the phone work, one of our 2 rooms phone didn't work). Then you wait 15-20 mins for boiler to kick-in. Breakfast was not ready until 8:00 even though we were told it would be at 7:30. Room service is quite slow as well. Very poor people skills. To their credit, the staff were experts in getting the lizards out of the rooms and balcony (with Morteen Spray and broom). No regrets or sorry/apologizing expressions from staff or front desks after all these. Would not recommend to anyone.
