Trip with spanish O.A.P.s

We stayed 5 nights on a full board basis in a group of 50. The food was well prepared, well presented and tasted just as well. It´s not in the center but just a short walk to the electric stairs ( 2 sets) that take you to the center. Lots of tourists but the locals were still very kind and helpful. The monuments and specially the catedral were quite extraordinary and needed a lot of time seeing them well The city is well situated and has good access to other cities nearby such as Madrid but is half the price to stay at.To explore Tolado well you´ll need 2 to 3 days, but they will be well spent

Busy Hotel

I stayed at this hotel when I was passing through Toledo in June.

The location of this hotel is not great. It is right next to the Bull Ring in Toledo and if you are in this hotel when there is an event on then you will struggle to get close to the hotel and the noise from outside is very high. The other note on the location of the hotel is that it is quite a distance out of the city. The main area of the city is down a very steep hill and you will always have to climb uphill to return to the hotel.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and did everything they could to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

The food at this hotel was tasty although the portions were on the small side. It did leave me wondering where the nearest takeaway was.

Decent hotel just outside the old town

The hotel is quite old, but the building and the rooms are authentic and clean. While our room was quite small and had a sloping ceiling, it was a good place to send a night in Toledo. The old town is within walking distance and all major sights can be reached by foot. If you don't want to climb the uphill path to the old town, you can always use the escalators located close to the hotel. Breakfast was ok and inexpensive.

Great base for a city visit

The hotel gave us a great room with comfortable bed, air con, good bathroom, lots of space and a view of the Cathedral. There was secure parking for our motorcycle as well. We ate there as the city did not seem to offer much that we could find and the meal was inexpensive but honestly very uninspiring compared to many others we had this holiday. The hotel is well appointed and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend staying here but perhaps look elsewhere to eat.

A lucky find

We arrived in Toledo about 8pm without a booking and thought this was a nice hotel , though I find paying extra for parking and breakfast a bit annoying. However the underground car park was secure .The 'star' of the place was the 17 Euro set meal at the restaurant .Three courses, water and a generous glass of wine It was excellent value, well cooked and generous portions. Room and bathroom were fine . Reception staff and waiters very pleasant. Air con was OK (it was extremely hot About 30 degrees at midniight)
