wonderfull place for a few days stay

Ghis old farmhouse is turned into a beautifull 6 room B&B. All rooms are big with ensuite bathrooms. All rooms ate on the firsy and second floor, but no need for walking stairs because the house has an elevator. Daniella, the landlady is very helpfull with all kind of suggestions for restaurants and activities to do. The breakfast served is very well prepared with local products. Every day there was some different home made cake or pie. Around the B&B there are just a few other houses, so it is very quiet. We enjoyed it very much and certainly recommend the place for a visit. Price / quality is more then OK.

Nice place but horrible owner

We went together with a French and Swiss family. Before booking she promised us a Motion Card ( to get free on chairlifts,..). When we asked for it, she refused to give it and only after a discussion she came the next morning and threw the cards on the table.
After that it was impossible to talk with her in a normal manner. We tried to solve our disagreement but it was impossible with her.
That morning she also did put some new rules at the swimming pool (no swimming between 13h and 15h and after 19h). Also the pumps that made a kind of fountain in the swimming pool didn't work anymore.
The first morning (after the discussion) the breath was hard and the fruit almost dried out. Breakfast was every day poor: only sweet stuff like cake, confiture, croissant,..no cheese, meat, eggs or nutella.
When we found out that we had to pay 15€ a day for the use of the fridge, ! yes 15€ a day for a fridge! we said we wont use it any more. So we started to use our own electric cool-box. After they came cleaning our room the electricity to the electric circuit was cut off but we still could use an other one. The last night she came to unplug it while it was standing outside.
While we were in the garden, she or her daughter were always outside to watch us.
Conclusion: You can feel at home when you like to live in a luxury prison. But don't forget to read all the rules in the chamber, at the swimming pool, for breakfast,..

relaxed

Our stay was a very good beginning of our holiday: good comfortable room, very nice people and a lovely garden with spa. The renovated house lies in a natural environment, quiet and rural. Location at the beginning of the val di fiemme is very good; you can reach the house without driving on an endless mountain road.

Amazing!!!

We stayed at Maso Franceschella while in Val di Fiemme for the Marcialonga ski race and found it to be a perfect hotel to suit our needs. It is a small, family run B&B just minutes from Cavalese by car. The building itself is a beautifully renovated farmhouse. The rooms are ample sized and very comfortable. The bathroom with a heated floor was a treat. Our only complaint was that the shower was warm but never hot. We felt incredibly welcomed by the hosts who made us feel right at home. We were not confined to our room but able to take advantage of common space on the first floor as well. Breakfast was plentiful and included homemade food as well as standard continental fare. We took advantage of dining at the hotel for two nights and the food was delicious. It also ended up being the most economical hotel of our trip to the Dolomites. We would recommend it to anybody!

We were made to feel part of the family

Great location.
Wonderful accomodation.
The whole family were warm and welcoming. It felt like we were guests of the home rather than a hotel accomodation
