Very helpful staff, and amazing food in the restaurant. The Indian food selections and made-to-order dosas are especially commended. The hotel itself has a great reception/common area, truly hideous yard art that should be thrown over the cliff, but very nice and comfortable rooms. WiFi only works well in the main building, not in the 'cottages'. The hotel seems to encourage small children to stay, which is unfortunate, given that parents don't seem to keep children quiet.

I was absolutely rejuvenated myself during my 3 nights stay at Mayfair-Darjiling property in Nov'2017. Warm hospitality, multi cuisine mouthwatering variety of dishes, very calm and quiet excellent location just opposite Raj Bhawan.
It was a very shinny crystal clear weather with 11 C morning temperature and Magnificent view of Kanchenjunga mountain from a stone throwing distance of Mayfair-Darjiling was an added advantage.

Great ambiance,lovely view,cozy room with courteous and helpful staff.Spa was great too.The only suggestion I can offer would be the food could be better and the linen and bath towels of better quality.But above all,no complaints at all!

Mayfair is a brand there and they are according to the same. Property is very nice and boutique hotel. Rooms are big and very nice. Room amenities are good. There are lots of amenities in hotel for family and children. They also have a small spa that was ok. Staff was polite and prompt They have nice bakery and provide bakery items also.
Restaurant is very good in ambiance and size. They provide good variety of food and food is very nice in taste and quality. Overall experience was good in all aspects i.e room, food and weather.

The hotel itself gives you a cosy feeling as the rooms are small, well managed and maintained and at the same time ,the staffs are also very helpful. The food and ambiance is very good and is by far a best property to stay in Darjeeling.
