We spent 2 nights here arriving from Nairobi ....before settling off for the Safari trip. Hotel is centrally located with shops and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Clean and basic amenities available . Service is very courteous but the restaurant service is extremely slow and limited in range. No view to talk of.

Very decent hotel with good showers, air conditioning, and TVs in each room. Great breakfast with lots of interesting possibilities - recommended Spanish omelet. Great personnel. The hotel manager came at every meal to ask how things were. We had a problem with our bedroom key and he came personally with the technician to solve the issue. The hotel is clean and is very close to the market and shops. It was recommended to us by our guide William from King of Tanzania.

Location is good, food is nice as well; their manager is always around trying his best for everything to go as it should. Friendly people. Wifi works but not so good out of the reception. Most rooms have balconies.

After crossing the boarder our driver took us to McElly's hotel. We stayed there 2 nights and roam around the area and one day we went to Mt Kilimanjaro for a day outing. This hotel is located in the heart of Arusha city from where we walked to the museum and market place.
Restaurant at 2nd floor is really very convenient, so we don't have to go outside for dinner after coming back from hectic trip.
One night the hotel was playing music louder thruout the night which was interrupting our sleep frequently. Otherwise our stay was very comfortable.

Mc Elly's hotel needs renovation throughout. We were given a room on a floor with not light and of course the rooms didn't have light either. Only because we insisted they gave us a room on a higher floor where light worked. Next day the manager excused the fault which was nice. But nevertheless we were not too happy breakfast was ridiculous. I would not recommend it unless for budget travellers.
